"A very cozy and well-appointed house. Very comfortable furniture, lovely coffee bar, and well-stocked kitchen. A perfect getaway for a ladies’ weekend away. We very much enjoyed Shawnee State Park and the charming town of Bedford a short 30-min drive away. Only slight downside: it can be nerve-wracking turning into to driveway (right off busy 4-lane Rt. 30), and it was difficult to initially find as we arrived at night. Communication with the host was great. Would definitely stay here again! "

The fridge was a bit small for the capacity of the cabin, and hot water was a little tricky to figure out at first for us city slickers. "Overall, we were comfortable with the cabin and had a nice weekend. As mentioned by other guests, the home needs some TLC, but I guess the reasonable price reflects that. The hot tub was clean and lovely under the abundant stars and our dog loved the pond. The screened porch with rocking chairs was a relaxing spot to enjoy our morning coffee.
