"Staying in a cottage within Colonial Williamsburg was a nice alternative to a regular hotel room and we appreciated having the extra space, peace, and fireplace. Check in was frustrating, however, when they put us in a Tavern Room instead of the house we reserved. When I called the front desk to inform them of the mistake, the woman tried to tell me they were all booked up and if we didn't want the Tavern Room she could try to find something else but would charge us extra. "Lovely stop over on our way to family. Beautiful home decorated for the holidays and had all the amenities we needed plus little snacks! We got to the a beautiful sunset off the dock and our twins got their own rooms and bathroom. It would’ve cost more to get two rooms at Williamsburg hotel. So happy we got to stay here! Would love to stay the week during summertime! Beautiful home and location! "
