"Amazing cabin that was perfect to relax in by the wood stove and look out at the snowy woods. Had all the modern amenities we needed and a well-stocked kitchen. Be careful with the driveway if coming in the winter. We were here during a snowstorm that turned to slush and then ice. The plow did come for the driveway but it still left a layer of ice that we needed a couple tries to get out of in our 4X4 SUV. It also was very slippery walking to the house. "The atmosphere of this log cabin was relaxing - just what we needed to spend quality time together as a family away from work and the daily grind. The view of trees outside and the natural materials inside were refreshing, and there were great amenities, like a jacuzzi tub and pellet stove to really unplug. Loved our stay here."

"Amazing location on a completely private small lake just a few minutes off the Taconic Parkway. Host is very helpful, and very artistic. Sleeping on a pull out couch was initially off-putting, but it is very high quality and fairly comfortable, and works for the space. So many birds to see and hear! Nice hiking trails on the large property, which has adjacent preserved land. "

"Loved this place! The owner checked on us which was very thoughtful! Very clean! The fresh fruit, granola and yogurt was a great touch. My only suggestion is to replace the wicker furniture with something more comfortable. "

Only issue we had was neighbor was a bit confrontational- screaming from his house that the kids were making too much noise at 10 a.m. while they were playing in the snow. Other than that - great area. "

"This house is an architectural gem with great views to the Hudson river and very close to Dia Beacon and really nice hikes. We were a group of 7 and really enjoyed our time together during our stay. Jeremy was really nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this house."
