Creek Side Cabin #2- Wapiti Valley, steps from Trout Creek

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (33)
"This rustic little bunkhouse condo outside Cody was the perfect home base for our trip to Yellowstone. The creek was lovely and its sound made sleeping restful. East entrance of Yellowstone was not too far and there were restaurants, convenient shopping and a great museum in nearby Cody. We saw an elk herd from the back porch and heard coyotes at night. Would definitely recommend."

"I don’t know where to start. Mr. Russell is an awesome host. The house was spotless clean and fully equipped, including anything needed to cook or store food, all that is needed is the meat or vegetables. We even had enough to cook breakfast and a light dinner if we wanted. Mr. Russell didn’t say no to anything we asked for and he was always promptly available to answer any request we had. 2 Bedroom- 2 Bath Cottage - sleeps 6 max

"The location is between Cody Wyoming and Yellowstone Park. It's a 15-20 mile drive to the park and driving through mountains. From our porch we've seen mule deer and turkey and can hear elk bugling. It's sparsely populated, which I like, but not too far from the town of Cody, which is well developed town with everything one needs for comfort. It's a good balance between nature and not getting too far from civilization. The 'cabin/house' is clean and equipped with everything you'll need."
