The second bedroom is fit for a king, with a king bed and a 58" TV. The third bedroom is cozy and comfortable, with a queen bed that will make you feel right at home. With two full bathrooms, you and your guests will have all the space you need to feel refreshed and ready to explore the wonders of Florence or Cincinnati. IMPORTANT:
1- We provide a swing set for our younger guests' enjoyment. To ensure their safety, we require adult supervision at all times. Please note that injuries are the responsibility of the supervising adult, not the establishment. The swing set is suitable for children aged 3 to 8 years, weighing no more than 100 pounds, to prevent damage to the equipment. Any damages to the swing set will incur a replacement fee. We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines to keep a safe and fun environment for everyone.
2- Sweet Retreat is somewhat close to a train track, and while the sound is gentle enough not to disturb, it’s worth noting if absolute silence is crucial for your stay. Please keep this in mind when booking.

The house is one of the nicest rentals I’ve stay in. It is very convenient to the Ark and the Creation Museum. Walton is a charming town. Be aware there are six steps into the house.

The property was just as expected. We did hear the train a little but I don’t think anyone was sleeping when it happened. It didn’t disturb us at all. My adult daughter and I gave my elderly parents the master bedroom and it worked perfect. It was comfortable and spacious. We do concur with another review that the living room is not the most comfortable for lounging. But if you’re close with everyone. Turning around the chaise in the master bedroom brings a very cozy environment to watch a movie together after long days on our feet. The location was pretty perfect between the Ark and Creation museum. It seemed to be under 30 minutes in both directions and much lighter commutes than we are used to. We definitely want to come back and will recommend this property to others we know.

Me, my daughter and my twin sister made the trip to visit the Creation Museum and The Ark. This house was halfway between, easy to get to, quiet neighborhood. The house was amazing, immaculate. Extremely nice furnishings and decorations. We had everything we needed. Hosts very easy to communicate with. We could not have picked a better place to stay!

This is the best VRBO we have ever experienced in dozens of homes. It is located perfectly between the Ark and the Creation Museum. David was super responsive to a minor issue. The Train noise was not laud enough to be a problem.

Exactly what we needed
This house though close to the tracks was just what we needed for our short stay to see the Ark and Creation Museum. My kids slept through the whistle and that’s all that mattered. We really enjoyed all the perfect touches that made it feel so homey especially the well stocked kitchen. This was by far the best vrbo kitchen I’ve ever seen!

Beautiful and clean home!
This home was beautiful and clean! There were so many extra touches and thoughtful additions. There were games to play (including cron hole for outside) and a few books to look at. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, utensils, appliances, coffee and tea accompaniments, spices, and extra touches. This is the best whole house we have stayed in yet (Vrbo and Airbnb combined). There were extra hot and cold fans in each bedroom. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean, inside and out. Wonderful stay! We would definitely recommend this home!

Our 6 night stay in this beautiful home was perfect. The property is in a very nice neighborhood. It’s extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The beds & bedding are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with top of the line appliances and kitchen tools. This beautiful home is perfectly located for day trips all around the Cincinnati area and beyond, and it’s an easy 1hr drive to all the must see sites that Louisville & surrounding area has to offer, including the Kentucky Derby Museum/Churchill Downs, Louisville Slugger Museum, Muhammad Ali Center, Jim Beam Distillery, and many other distilleries. If you’re planning a trip to the Cincinnati & Kentucky area I highly recommend this home as your base.

Perfect Stay for Christian Family vacation!
My Mom just turned 80 six months ago. She had a "bucket list" item of seeing "The Ark & the Creation Museum. This home had everything! Dishes, pots & pans, coffee maker, glasses, microwave, dishwasher, extra large refrigerator, bbq, linens & much more! It was easy freeway access and had a local Kroger grocery store and gas station within a mile. Neighborhood was quiet & peaceful. We invited my wife's parents to go with us & we were so glad we did! This is the perfect accommodation for 3 couples! We had a blast cooking meals together, eating outside together on the patio, playing cards on the dinning room table, sitting around the fire pit cooking S'mores! This property not only made great new memories but also allowed the blended family to share vacation stories from the past. What a delightful place to stay! 3 nights was not enough time to explore the surrounding area. I would suggest 5-7 day minimum.

Great Place to Stay
The house is really lovely - nicely decorated, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Our group consisted of 4 adults (2 couples) so the layout was perfect with 2 bathrooms. We didn't use the firepit, but it certainly looked like a great place to spend an evening. The shopping center that is close by had a number of restaurants and a grocery store. There is also a Starbucks. The location was perfect for our day trips to the Creation Museum, the Ark and the Newport Aquarium. All in all, I would definitely recommend the house and will stay here again if we are ever in the area again.

Fabulous family reunion
My small family's annual reunion took us to the Ark Encounter this year, and this was the prefect place for the 4 of us to stay. Easy to get to and beautifully furnished/ decorated inside, we were perfectly comfortable.
