Overall the property was good. One day they forgot to clean our room which was a bit inconvenient. Staff usually very friendly but I did have one person at the front desk that didn’t want to assist too much. The rest were great. A bit of a walk to the bus stop and Uber seemed to take a long time to get there all the time. Room was comfortable and clean

I booked a night as a surprise for my partner, it was easy to find and from the moment of checking in all the team members we met were so welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean and fresh. We booked to eat in the restaurant and the team were lovely and helpful and the food was delicious. The bed was so comfy we had a king size bed and we had a great night sleep. The en-suite was clean and tidy, the only disappointment was there was a tidy bottle of body lotion, it would have been good if there was a big bottle fixed the the wall like the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. As there wasn’t enough for two people, luckily we had brought some. The breakfast was what we were looking forward to and it didn’t disappoint. We were offered a choice of eggs as we entered and they came quickly. We will definitely be returning for more than one night.

Staff were friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. The nearest bus stop seemed a bit of a walk on busy roads, and cab prices varied, in particular Apollo cab charged more than others and the driver would only accept cash. Definitely worth staying if you have a car.

Nice property, but stated that it was newly refurbished - it needs to be renovated. The rooms had that old musty smell of when a property is old, and the air con only went down to 15.5 degrees, and is probably as old as the building. Not sure what the point of having an air con feature is when it didn’t work, it was hotter in the room than it was outside, absolutely awful.

Convenient for an event we had to do in Enfield so it was much easier staying at this property rather than one in central London and having to fight traffic to get there the next morning. The staff were friendly and it is over high standard for a local hotel.

My recent stay
Booked this hotel as it had decent reviews. My bed was comfortable & hot shower with nice smelling shower gel etc. I was really disappointed that each night I returned to my room to find it hadn’t been made up. As I use hotels each week for work, this is normally done. I learnt when checking that I had to let reception when checking in, if I wanted my room made up. That’s ok, if I was told that when at check in. That communication really needs improving! We also used the Cast Iron on-site restaurant to save driving and food was ok but very expensive £17 for bowl of pasta!
