The house was built in 1750 and originally served as a horse-changing station for stagecoaches plying between Strasbourg and Nancy. After that it was used as a lumberjack house and farmhouse. Around 2000 the house was purchased by us and redeveloped from scratch. Since then, we use it as a family retreat. The house is located about 3 km outside the village 75 kilometers west of Strasbourg.

The 2 hectare plot situated on a slope. A forest clearing, surrounded by pines, birches, oaks, fruit trees and flower beds. Pralle nature in noble-rustic atmosphere Reiter. We rent the entire house, the keys are handed over on site by appointment. The house is clean and ready for your visit. The beds are freshly made, towels laid out.

The kitchen is fully equipped, all appliances in the kitchen can be shared, a first-class olive oil, vinegar and spices are also available. Those looking for activity and closeness to nature is right here. Requires familiarity with the fire! And no fear of horses. The horses are permanently on the property and are supplied daily by neighbors with food.

To the house:

The ground floor is the large kitchen. We cook with gas. Oven, Kitchen-Aid, café machine, dishwasher, etc. Entrance with cupboards, bench and storage. Large bathroom with sink, shower, exercise bike, towels, etc. On the upper floor of the saloon with sofa, glass table and 2 chairs.
Next 3 separate bedrooms with double beds (140 x 200 cm) and in the attic is a the Salon towards open gallery with a double bed 200 x 200 cm, shelf, desk, TV area with sofa.
The house is heated exclusively with wood. A 12 kw Bullerjan the EC and a 7 kw stove upstairs enough for this. Firewood is available.
