"Lovely manager - very accommodating and friendly. We stayed in a suite which was beautiful. Me and 2 bridesmaids stayed the evening before my wedding in a family room. This was large and beds were comfy - pillows could be softer. We had breakfast delivered to the room and the charge waivered which was kind. "Lovely riverside location. Breakfast options very good and service. Dinner menu options okay and service slow when busy. Had to go and find waitress to give our main dinner options. Room was lovely and very comfortable. All hotel areas were well kept and clean Staff very friendly. We were not told in advance of our stay that there was a disco on the Saturday night. We usually sleep well but the noise was unbearable. It was underneath us and spoilt what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend. "

"Outstanding place. Very rustic, delicious food, great sevice and immaculate accommodation. The only downside is the noise of the traffic when you are staying in the roof rooms as there is little sound insulation. Take earplugs and you will sleep soundly!"
