"Overall, this was such a creative and rustic place. I loved the antique pieces and the functional use of items. The bed was very comfortable. The challenge was that the deck had not been cleaned (bird droppings and just grime) for a long time - had to put a towel on the chair to cover the yuk. The adirondack chairs down by the beautiful brook were not used due to the many bird droppings that were not new. "I had originally booked one of the one bedroom units, but unfortunately when I checked-in there was a pool of water of the Kitchen floor - evidently there had been a storm power outage the day before and it tripped the breaker to the refrigerator/freezer and the ice in the freezer had melted and leaked out onto the floor. "Great location across from the Wallowa lodge. You are essentially in a basement studio apartment. When we stayed the Upstairs neighbors took most the parking and we had to squeeze in, which was annoying. Very small and would be tough to fit more than two adults and one child."

"Very much enjoyed our stay. Had all we needed and the owner was very responsive and prompt with communication. Only negative comment would be that it is on the main road through town which was loud when large trucks drove by. That would not be a deterrent from staying again. Just an FYI for those traveling who are light sleepers. Little bakery underneath was fantastic."

"My husband and I traveled to Joseph with our dog. The house had everything we needed. The yard was perfect for our dog and the neighborhood was fun to explore. The kitchen was very well stocked and the living room was very comfortable. The gas stove warmed the place completely. The bedroom was great with lots of storage for our things. We can’t wait to return in the summer and enjoy the deck. "
