Hidden Gem Near Skiing

Great spot! Ten minutes to Boyne Mt. and a three-minute walk from the charming village of Walloon Lake with its shopping, beach, and restaurants. This space comes with a full kitchen and workspace. On a quiet street, it's an ideal spot for two, however, there is a sleeper in the living room to accommodate two little ones. (Another apt. next door is available for booking). Our apt. is 12 minutes from Petoskey's gaslight district or restaurants in Boyne City.​​​​​

Our apartment includes a laundry room in the middle of the building & a large parking lot in case you want to bring your boat.

Local activities are downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, ice skating (when it’s cold enough the Village has a skating pond by the Barrel Back restaurant), boating (rentals are available in the Village), golf, mountain biking, hiking, and biking trails are within a ten-minute drive. ​​​If you like upscale restaurants The Barrel Back restaurant is a memorable experience as it sits above a marina in the Village of Walloon & it’s a fun place to watch the boats.

Love everything about this place! Sparkling clean, comfortable bed, nicely decorated and everything you need for a cozy stay is available. Walloon Lake community is gorgeous and within minutes drive to Boyne City and Petsokey. We will definitely return!

Girls ski weekend
We had a great weekend, location was perfect being central to Boyne Mountain as well as Highlands and Nubs. We checked out local wineries and a brewstillery and lunch at Junction Bar & Grill was fantastic!

Heather was great with prompt communication! Her place was charming and welcoming and very clean! Would stay here again as we love to ski at Boyne. It was only a 10 minute drive to the resort.

Perfect in every way
This property was perfect. It was clean and in a very nice, quiet, area. It was close to Boyne City and the village of Walloon Lake is within walking distance. Beautiful little place. I’d say here again without hesitation! Awesome place!

Great Stay
This was a perfect location for our 4-day tour of the Petoskey wine trail. The property was in excellent condition and was the perfect size and layout for the two of us. We had everything we needed. Keep in mind there is no air conditioning, but the fans worked for us.

Very comfortable bed, great parking right next to the apartment entrance, nice location close to downtown Walloon Lake. Easy to use entry lock. Very quiet location, neighbors are friendly. Laundry available right next door. 2nd time for me at this location! :)

This is a cute little apartment. It was hot without air conditioning, and we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping on a pull out couch with the screen door open all night. We will be more careful reading about property amenities in the future. Our host was responsive and kind, which we appreciated very much. The location is very close to the heart of Walloon.
