This is a fabulous hotel. I’ve stayed here a few times, but this time I didn’t have a good experience. I have an older dog who needs to be walked and usually has to pee in the middle of the night. The hotel doesn’t have any entries that are open And there is no way to get in with the key card. I was locked out of the building two times. There were other difficulties with my stay. I will definitely stay at a different hotel next time I visit town even though the market can be wonderful.

Had a one week stay here. It's located conveniently in town and a short drive to restaurants. Shower head had pink and black mold. Body hair from previous occupants on the ceiling. Bathroom is not thoroughly cleaned. Nice hotel lobby. Room was pretty basic. Comfortable bed. A few days in, I called the front desk in the morning asking for the room to be cleaned and refreshed. Returned that evening and it had not been done. Front desk did a towel refresh themselves. Overall, the stay was nice but nothing to write home about.

We have stayed in Walla Walla many times, but never at the Marcus Whitman. We will be coming back. Our four night stay was a pleasure. The room was nice and very comfortable. The atmosphere is great. But perhaps, the most important feature of all is the location. We walked to so many of the places we love. This was probably our best of many wonderful trips to Walla Walla.

We stayed in the west wing which has not been renovated recently. It’s loud, the beds sink and the lighting is poor in the rooms. We heard toilets flush in the rooms nearby, we heard the elevator dinging and loud voices in the hall. The beds were very soft and our backs hurt in the morning. It’s a convenient location and our experience may have been different if we had stayed in the tower. However, we had our kids with us so we needed a double queen room.

Bathroom is too small
For the price, this hotel was beautiful in the lobby, perfect location but the room was just so so. The beds were comfortable but the sheets came off the mattress easily. The bathrooms are inexcusably small after a five year remodel. Our check in and check out was very nice, but the people who stayed there were very unfriendly.

The stay was great. It is downtown on a busy intersection so there was a lot of traffic noise. The windows are old and didnt lock so there was a bit of a draft that may be uncomfortable during the winter. Staff were really nice and the hotel was clean and comfortable.
