It is a remote property right next to the Vindolanda site, which was well worth visiting, there was free entry with the cottage. Great location for lots of walks and Hexham & Corbridge are worth a visit. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here."

"I can’t put into words how fantastic this stay was. The hosts were brilliant, were ready and waiting when we arrived with the fire lit for us. They showed us how the hot tub works (fabulous) and said to contact them if we needed anything. The cottage itself had anything you could want, plenty of things to cook with, lovely quirky old features - the place was immaculately clean. "Lovely 3 night break with 3 kids, loads of room, lovely brunch in the hotel, the only downfall was the hot tub wasnt great, it was good but the jets didnt seem to be working properly and the lights didnt work. Apart from that, everything we could have hoped for, would defo recommend 👌"

"We try and come to Otterburn once a year as we love the area. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with tableware amd cutlery. The veds were comfy abd the hot tub was amazing. The only thing that frustrated us was the induction hob, we have never used one before so took a lot of getting used to despite reading the instructions several times.will definitely be returning and will have hopefully mastered the use of an induction hob by then!"
