We had a nice experience at this property over Labor Day weekend. Here are the pros and cons in our opinion:
Pros: Large space (3-4x the size of a hotel room), very clean, lots of mountain ambience, many brochures to inform you of all the sights to see in the area, cute kitchen, comfortable bed with nice sheets & a cozy comforter, soft & luxurious bathroom towels, plenty of fluffy blankets to use if you get chilly.
Cons: Very convenient to the little shops and restaurants IF they’re open – many were not on the holiday weekend. There is noticeable traffic noise from sports cars and souped-up trucks driving by. It would quiet down after 10-11pm. There are also city street lights outside. Even with the window blinds closed at night, ample light still came in. There was dishwashing soap in the kitchen, but no dish-drying rack or towels of any kind. Not even paper towels. The k-cup coffee provided was excellent, but there was no decaf. A hot air corn popper & popcorn holders were a nice extra touch…except there was no popcorn, so this perk was a miss. In the bathroom, there was ample soap, shampoo, conditioner, bath towels & toilet paper for our 3 night stay, but there was no facial tissue. The bed had 4 pillows with pillowcases: 2 feather & 2 loose foam ones. It would have been nice if 2 firmer pillows had been available as well.
We hope this review helps provide the owner with some good feedback & properly sets future renters’ expectations. Overall it’s a very nice property.
