"This house was the best spot for a cabin retreat! The house was decorated for the holidays which made it feel like we were in a Hallmark movie! The property was on the mountainside and truly felt like a getaway, but we still felt safe being in a residential area. The hot tub was the highlight for our group. The owners were quick to respond and assist us with any needs. We spent the weekend taking the 15 min drive into town to enjoy the square as well. I highly recommend this property! "

"We had a great time at the Bee’s Knees. Would definitely stay there again. So charming… Coming from South Florida the roads in Big Canoe were somewhat challenging at first but we got use to the winding roads quickly. If it is your first time visiting I would recommend arriving before dark. Also, parking could be a challenge if you have a large SUV but it is doable. 5 stars!"

"The cabin is very clean and everything is just as described in the listing. The gas fireplace is beautiful and cozy. The scenery from both sides of the house is beautiful, as the cabin is at the end of a road, so there are only woods beyond. The deer and other wildlife are fun to watch and enjoy. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware necessary for a full family. There is a Keurig and a regular coffee pot. All the comforts of home. We'll definitely be going back."

"We had an amazing chilly weekend at River’s Echo. Spending evenings by the campfire next to the river was so relaxing. We made the most of the hot tub, outdoor patio, ping pong table, and the super comfortable beds. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you, Mandy and Doug, for a fantastic weekend!"
