"Excellent property for a stay on Orcas Island. Waterfront view from deck, living space and upstairs bedrooms is outstanding. Convenient location near the supplies and amenities of Eastsound. Cabin was very clean, maintained and well supplied with linens, kitchen tools, and indoor entertainment options. As advertised, the driveway is steep but paved. Multiple cars will be somewhat of an issue as there is limited space to turnaround. Highly recommend, especially for multiple couples."

"This is where you want to stay on orcas Island. Centrally located and secluded. Easy to get to and the accommodations in the cottage are spectacular. Everything you need in the kitchen to make a nice meal. The garden provided us with an onion and celery. A really nice treat."

"Wonderful property and we have returned many times. Beautifully appointed with charming English garden. Only negative was we were given wrong key lockbox code and took 30mins of holding on telephone before we got a live person at 11pm who was able to get property manager. Rest of stay was excellent."

The code to the door didn’t work, and after trying it numerous times, we texted Vacasa and they responded with a different code for the lock box which got us in with a key. There was a plumbing and gate issue that was both communicated early, expectations set and addressed immediately. She kindly provided compensation for the issues. "This home was incredible! The location was close to town and had an incredible water view. The interior was beautifully designed and the layout worked perfectly for our family. The kitchen was incredibly well appointed too! Instructions on accessing the home were easy to understand and communication was quick and easy. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! My sister and I both mentioned we liked Eastsound better than Friday Harbor because of this house!"

"Hello, This is our second stay at Captain's Cottage. This one was even better. The property manager is great, the unit was spotless and there were upgrades since our last stay. Very comfy bed, nicely stocked kitchen - even with food film, foil, spices, sweetners and other goodies. They even had an oyster knife so I could shuck my own yummy fresh oysters from up the road a bit. If you like a quite, water view getaway, this is the place. It is for two adults only, but if thats you, enjoy!"

"We enjoyed a week at the "Cozy Cottage" and it could not have been better. The old adage "make yourself at home" definitely applies here - the home is warm, inviting and charming by any measure. Every possible need and amenity is accounted for. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, on a gorgeous and well-maintained double lot - plenty of outdoor space.
