Cute beach cottage adjacent to public beach access.
Property was generally clean. Bedrooms range in size but are a good use of space in the home.
Views off the back deck are beautiful. The home is adjacent to public beach access so expect to share the views. Location was very near to 101 and easy access to area attractions.
Honest , this property was amazing. So gorgeous. The bay is amazing. We were very surprised to see how much room there was in the home. When we first drove up it looked tiny.
I loved walking the bay in the morning and sitting on deck drinking coffee.
Id suggest this property to anyone. We simply loved it!!!
We couldn't have been more pleased with this house. It is exactly what I pictured. Our favorite part was sitting on the back porch watching the seals. When the tides come in and the water is full those seals were so close. I don't have anything bad to say about this place. We wish we had booked it for longer!
The house is very cute! It's a 2 story. 4 steps up the front porch into the house. 4 or 5 steps down into the first bedroom. Nice size dinner table and living room, with a beautifull view of the bay. Lots of seagulls, seals, and even pelicans! 7 to 10 steps up to the 2 bedrooms.
We love it so much we want to stay next year!
We arrived for check in and property had not been cleaned and prepared for our arrival. Property manager said one of those things. Cleaning crew had messed up schedules. This is a poor excuse. Property reservation was made months in advance. This property also overpriced for location and what it is. This experience left us distressed and distracted the rest of our trip. We will NEVER USE VRBO again. Will find local property management companies!
We highly enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage. The decor was beach modern and comfortable. The view was amazing and we had 10+ seals visit each night close to the shore. It was a great experience. Walking distance to coffee, great balery, and a cute wine tasting shop. Overall great stay. The upstairs bathroom is very small but its still nice that there was one. The bedrooms get very bright in the morning. They have blinds that block 60 percent but curtains would be extra nice. There was no wine opener or bottle opener. One bedroom didnt have sleeping pillows, only decorative pillows. There were ample towels and cute travel size shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom. Lots of seating outside to take in the beautiful view. Could use a couple blankets because it gets quite cold. The deposit was enormous and is a lot to ask of renters but I suppose it deters those who cannt afford it. Overall, would stay here again.
Great location, hot tub for 4, really need to create safe beach access instead of climbing over rocks. Loved the house. Beds for 3 couples and living room couch bed. Kinda creepy being on camera outside in back yard while trying to relax. Overall 8. out of 10
We lived the property. Easy to find and get into. In great shape. The kitchen is well stocked. The view of the bay is stunning, the kids loved the little beach, wildlife viewing deom the hot tub was engaging for hours in the evening. Highly recommend.

So many things wrong
We all were so disappointed with this property. This place was old and not clean. We had to pay a cleaning fee and our place was so dirty. There were towels that were stained, broken bent chairs outside, not fully equipped kitchen like the add said. There was not even a can opener. Toilet downstairs didn’t flush properly. There was a smell in the house. This place was not a luxury place like the add said. The book did not explain more details in the house. Light came through all the old blinds. I feel I should have some kind of refund. Again why am I paying for a place that is not up to standards?
We had a fantastic stay! Great views, we loved watching the sea lions come in at night. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and would definitely stay again. Wonderful house right on the beach!
Loved the property and location, at low tides the kids and I would walk out the back door and go explore. We caught crabs right off the back deck as well. Sitting in the hotub in the evenings watching the seals swim in the bay was a grrat way to end each evening.
I love this cottage. It’s actually 3 levels, but master downstairs with 4 steps. Upstairs is only 6-7 stairs, with water views. Kitchen has nice plates, bowls etc. It’s a 50 step walk to Hi school pharmacy ( they are lovely) and 2 blocks from dollar general. The wind off the bay can get cool, so bring jackets. We loved walking on the beach. We also drive into yachats and Newport- both fun and beautiful towns also. Sea lions and birds are fun to watch in the bay. If you love exploring nature, coastal towns, hiking and sitting on a dock- look no further.
Beautiful beachside home. Great location, close to many different sites, etc. We would definitely love to stay there again the next time we are in Oregon. Thank you!
The house. The views. The location. Everything exceeded our expectations. We lucked out and had amazing weather!! The kids were on the beach from sunrise to sunset. We celebrated my sons 6th birthday on the beach. He told us he wants to come back next year for his birthday! We had to go buy more toilet paper and some cleaning supplies, but other than that, the house was well stocked. I had read the reviews, so we brought bath mats for outside the showers. We highly recommend this rental!!!
We loved our stay in Waldport. This house was perfect being right on the bay. Perfect location for town, the main road and some of the best neighbors! Loved the deck and being able to sit out there and enjoy the view. The yard was overgrown when we first got there which made it tough to sit around the fire pit and for our pup but they did come and mow which was made it much nicer. The grill was a nice touch so we could bbq. We would definitely stay here again.
Group of 6 seniors. Comfortable space and sleeping arrangements. Great view. Keurig worked just fine. Good location for travel up and down the coast. Definitely would recommend to others!
Great property and great location. Was the perfect getaway for myself and my family. We were also able to bring our 2 dogs which was so nice. Everything you could possibly need was a short walk or drive away. Near all the local attractions. It rained the entire week we were there, but with the view from the living room, you could easily enjoy the beauty of the outdoors without even leaving the couch.
Loved the beach property. Was great for children and dog to play on the beach right out back. Also did a little clam digging. Not too far from place to rent a boat and go crabbing. Kitchen was well equipped
Nicely renovated cottage with beach access on a quiet bay right outside. Beds were comfy with nice linens, kitchen had everything we needed although it could use a better skillet. It is furnished well although some of the throw pillows were leaking their stuffing. Cute touches here and there made us feel welcome. Owner was immediately responsive to our questions.
One upstairs bedroom is unheated - fortunately a family member was driving to the house and brought a space heater. Owner sent over extra blankets but in October, heat is a basic need. Wifi is not strong enough - 3 of our party had to work and it was frustrating for them. One person had to cancel a couple of meetings as a result.
Door mats should be provided for the front and back doors. We had to use towels and felt bad about it.
Waldport has little to recommend it but that’s not why we came. Market for groceries is in walking distance and there is a cute, woman owned, espresso place which was good since the Keurug only made extra large watered down coffee and strange noises.
We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed watching the gulls, herons and a seal.
We were very happy with the house and location! We had the chance to walk on the sand and explore the shore. Walk to the cute shops downtown and enjoy hiking just a few minutes away!
