Come to Waldport for your next Oregon Coast vacation and stay in this charming bayfront home. This home is even dog-friendly, so you can bring your favorite canine family members along as well!

Located in a quiet neighborhood in Bayshore Estates right on Alsea Bay, this home puts you waterside for a peaceful vacation experience. You'll have a fantastic view of the bridge, and you'll be surrounded by wildlife and boats cruising by at high tide. Launch your kayak right out back, hop on Highway 101 to go exploring, and travel less than three miles for groceries in Waldport proper.

This rental is a great family home with comfortable furnishings and plenty of open space. Revel in the views from the wall of windows in the living/dining area. Stoke a fire in the wood stove and have a movie night in the living room on the flatscreen cable TV. Make a selection from the VHS library or bring your own DVDs from home. Get your bearings and investigate the area using the free WiFi and make plans for your stay.

When it's time to feed your crew, send the cook to the kitchen, which features standard appliances (including a dishwasher). Meal prep and clean-up are made easy, and you can enjoy meals together at the dining table for six. (Two additional seats are also available at the breakfast bar.) After dinner, hang out on the deck and while away the remainder of the day on the swing. Or, have a cookout and eat on the picnic table on the deck.

At bedtime, sink into the king-size bed in the main bedroom, which also features an en suite bath and a view of the bay. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the bedroom off the living area is great for kids with two twin beds. Altogether, this three-bedroom, two-bath home accommodates up to six guests. Two dogs are also welcome for a small nightly fee. And there's a washer and dryer in the second bathroom to keep your clothes fresh and sand-free throughout your stay.

Spend some time on your deck and watch birds swim and harbor seals dive right by the dock while the kids and dogs run free in the fenced yard.

Take a bike ride or a leisurely stroll on the beach, or hop on Highway 101 and head five miles north to Seal Rock at low tide to check out the tide pools. Or, go five miles south to Wakonda Beach or 11 miles to Yachats.

If you're looking for a comfortable family home with easy access to the water and an excellent view, book this one today and start making plans for your next Oregon Coast getaway!

Beautiful view and nice clean home..
The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of towels for both showers and hot tub use. Plenty of room for our family of 4. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Dirty home.
The home was extremely dirty, pet hair everywhere, dust, dirty floors. We spent 2 hours cleaning before we could relax. They charge for cleaning but no cleaning has been done anytime recently.

Wow!!!
This house was everything listed but from the pictures, you don't get the wow factor until you walk thru the door! The wall of windows overlooking the bay was breathtaking. Even though the house is older, it was clean and nicely furnished. The Jacuzzi was just the cherry on top. The weather was perfect, we are from Arizona, it was in the mid 60s and we got the morning fog but the sun burned thru and it was amazing. We spent every morning and night in the jacuzzi watching the birds, seals and boaters in the bay. The house was so close to the beach access and our dog enjoyed his first run on the sand. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful home with great location, but poor management
We loved the house and the view of Alsea Bay, but reporting maintenance issues and expecting a timely and appropriate response did not happen. So sorry for the owners as this is a lovely house, but it is not being maintained.

The best beach house we’ve stayed in!
Very clean, comfortable home, although upgraded mattresses would be a wonderful change. All in all a A+!

All about the view
If you’re going to the coast to soak in the views, this is the house you want. The home is all about its water, bridge, and bay views. Sea birds and harbor seals can be spotted throughout the day. And the sunrise over Alsea bay is spectacular. The home itself is spacious with and easy open floor plan, and just a stroll to miles of open beach. If you are looking for a modern home with crisp clean hotel feel, this is not the home for you. Appliances, furnishings and linens are dated and need to be replaced. But if it’s view and location you want, this home is heavenly

We really enjoyed staying at Harbor House. It's in a good location with a wonderful view of the bay. The house was well equiped, except the coffee pot was missing. We recieved one the following day, but it wasn't there for morning coffee. The hot tub was great.

Bay shore
I loved the view, especially with a hot tub! A blocks walk to the ocean was perfect. No propane for barbecue all smoke alarms had batteries that kept beeping and the dishwasher didn’t work but we had a lovely time nevertheless

Awesome house with awesome view!
This house was a delight. The hot tub overlooking the bay was absolutely incredible. The couches and beds were super comfortable. The towels were a bit rough and threadbare but not intolerable. Only reason I didn't give it 5 full stars was bc the technology was insanely outdated. A little old 32 in TV w basic cable and VHS and 2g internet. It would've been nice to come home and watch a movie on Netflix at the end of the night.

Very nice, good size and comfortable.
This home is very nice! Good layout and nice furniture. The beds were comfortable and the sheets are nice cotton! Dogs are allowed, the back yard is fenced in with gravel so the dogs don’t track dirt or sand in. The fire place was really nice! We stayed in February and that made it very cozy. Nice driveway for easy unloading. The provided shampoo, conditioner and soap are Dove. Which is a nice bonus that it’s not just a cheap brand that dries you out if you forgot something. Also, the towels were nice, soft and plenty of them! I also like that they provided a new dish sponge, in the wrapper. This place would be really great in the summer.

Wonderful house with view and lots of light
The house is roomy and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, comfy furniture and large kitchen. My only complaint at all was that the dog poop in the yard hadn’t been picked up and there was no scoop or shovel available. A bucket and scoop would be great, and please have it clean when visitors arrive. Everything else was perfect!

BEST VIEW POSSIBLE
The location of this house is wonderful. Sit in the living room and watch boats, birds and seals through the wall of windows! The fenced area was perfect for our dog and quiet street with no traffic. Sadly the house is very dated and in need of attention. Carpets were cleaned but stains and wear are evident.

Cold as ice and lots of ants
The view was great, as was the hot tub. Beds comfy. Dishwasher not working and no central heat just two bedrooms and a closet had heat. Bought firewood for wood stove and ceramic space heaters for the rest of the house. Ants all over the kitchen and appeared to enter through the skylight.

Some improvement needed
We love to vacation here and usually do at least once a year. This is the only time the house was not stocked with to, kitchen trash bags, dishwasher soap or laundry soap. Is this the norm now so we can plan ahead for next year? Also, back door is extremely hard to open. The folks could not operate it without help. Ceiling fan in kitchen was really dirty. We cleaned the back splash behind stove while we were there. Thank you for sharing your home.

Another birthday trip
Great view of the Alsea Bay and bridge. Quiet neighborhood. Hot tub worked as it should. It was clean, hot and good jets. The jets on the jetted bathtub were not working but definitely not a deal breaker. Noticed a few ants in the master bathroom. Again not a deal breaker. The slider going from the dining area to the deck required some muscle to open and close. Only a few heaters in the house actually worked but it really wasn't that cold. Ice maker only made one round of ice but we just bought a bag from down the road. Our rental was ready way before check in and they even offered late check out for a nominal fee. We really liked not having to rush out by 10am. The only other thing to mention is there were no games provided as in other places that we have stayed. We donated one of the games that we brought.

Hot tub was great!
We had a great time in the home however there were a few things that need to be fixed. There was a broken pole in the master closet for supporting the area to hang the clothes. The dryer did not dry the clothes we ran it about 12 times and they were still wet. The dishwasher doesn't work and the plug for the bath tub is broken. We were disappointed the jets in the tub didn't work. The hot tub was delightful thank you. The curb appeal is not very welcoming. We got confused with the different color trash cans out front and got trash and recycling mixed up. The house was clean on first inspection however there was so much animal hair on the furniture and underneath the couches my little one had an asthma attack. The tv didn't have any main channels or any type of streaming devices it was unpleasant. There are so many ants is crazy. The house was so cold and no way to heat it. Great views and a nice back yard.

Beautiful views of bay
Location is perfect. Couldn’t ask for a better view of Alsea Bay. We loved watching the boats and even did some crabbing off the rocks in front of the house. House needs needs some work. The porch light and master bedroom light didn’t work. The refrigerator light flashed every time you opened refrigerator. There was dog poop piles everywhere in back yard in the gravel. The cleanliness and maintenance is very poor. Extra items ( garbage bags, toilet patter etc is vey skimpy. They didn’t leave us any extra garbage bags so I had to call Vacasa to get some. That was a hassle just trying to get garbage bags after day 2 of checking in. My family was not impressed with Vacasa.

Disappointed
The great veiw is this property's only redeeming quality. We enjoyed watching the boats & tide come in and out of the bay. It has nice couches, decent beds and enough basic kitchen items to get through you stay. From the street the house looks abandoned with overgrown weeds and trees impeding. The entrance. There were dead birds & dog poop in the yard. The metal pans were all rusty, the glasses & utensils are well past worn & some of the cupboards were dirty & sticky. The toilet brush stunk so bad I had to move it to a room we were not using and close the door. Unfortunately, for me, the great veiw is not enough to overcome the "gross" factor going on at this house. It would just take a good deep clean (inside & out), and proper maintenance to bring this house up to standard.

The view is outstanding. The house needs some love.
If I was just reviewing on the view alone, I'd give this property 5+ stars. I stayed at this house with my parents and grandmother for four nights. This home is all one level and has very few steps in and out which is why we booked it. We loved watching the tide and fishermen come and go from the deck and the giant, beautiful windows. We flew kites in the back yard. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck and relaxed in the evenings in the hot tub which was very clean. One garage bay is open for us which made it great to easily store our kayaks and outdoor gear. The house itself needs some love though and for these many reasons I am giving it 2 stars. We are not a high-class family, but there were several things with this house that made us cringe. The front yard is overgrown. The backyard's fencing needs repair in many places. The furniture on the patio is well worn and unsturdy. The shower had mold around the edges at the top and at the bottom of the shower curtain. One of the supports for the primary bed was mis-installed so we had to fix that before it could be slept in comfortably. The kitchen supplies were very limited and the dishwasher moved inside/came out of it its counter space. The whole TV/AV set-up space was a mess and there were no instructions on how to operate any of it. There was no step to get into the hot tub. The coffee table top in the living room was a piece of scratched and dirty plexiglass. It was difficult to lock and unlock the front door. For the price point, we expected things to be nicer, in better shape.
