"We got spectacular winter weather, so the view and balcony were quite wonderful. Reception was particularly welcoming and helpful with our special requests and even managed to sort out a spa treatment at the last minute. I had the small but well-appointed spa/sauna area all to myself, fun and relaxing. Oddly, the room amenities were spare: one liquid soap/shampoo combo product was it, had to rent(!) a spa robe. But the low-season price, included breakfast, spa with treatments, and gorgeous area...

"We had an excellent room, although we were disappointed to realize the HDMI outlet had been covered by the TV stand so we couldn't plug in our ipad, this was a minor inconvenience. The view was excellent and the room well appointed. Our only let down was the restaurant. This brought a 4.5 star stay down to a 3* at best.
