"Landlady made clear - repeatedly! - this was not a hotel and had double booked one of our two triple rooms. She did find another hotel for two of my guests, but that is not what we wanted! We wanted the group together! So not at all impressed with the organisation or the breakfast which was poor for 15 euro per person. "

"Jammer dat er een dubbele boeking was. De eigenares wist van niets. Met wat geluk was er nog een ander huisje leeg. Natuurlijk hadden wij wel geboekt en betaald voor een huis in de toren met 4 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Deze had 3 slaapkamers en 1 badkamer. Dit vonden we wel jammer."

"Der Aufenthalt bei Rudy und seiner Frau war wirklich sehr sehr toll. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, und auch der weitere Aufenthalt der folgenden Tage war sehr entspannt. Er erkundigte sich nach unserem Wohlergehen, und war wirklich sehr darauf bedacht, das man sich wohl fühlt! Sollten wir noch mal in Belgien Urlaub machen, dann dort!! "Lovely old building with pleasant grounds but the unit lacked a great deal. Firstly, no air conditioning on a 34 degree day is a huge problem for anyone. We had to ask for a fan and leave windows on ground floor open all night in order to get some kind of sleep. NOT IDEAL for safety. Kitchen facilities were lacking, no chopping/cutting board, no sharp knife to cut anything, no microwave heating bowl, slow oven top, no egg spatula or tongs, no toaster.
