"Great historic place with lots of trees and adjacent to a park. Walking distance to town. Spacious rooms and very confortable. The only draw back is the noise from the expressway. We loved the restaurant but noticed the menu is limited. We expected more original entrees. But great regardless. "

"Talbot Commons is a very charming enclave located in a quiet area within walking distance of Taylor’s shopping district. Each of the rooms are decorated with a trendy western theme. All the rooms are on ground level arranged around a common area, so it could be ideal for a wedding, group, or small family reunion. For me it was an ideal stopover on a trip across Texas. "This is a wonderful local get away. A nice surprise to be so close and such a beautiful property. The restaurant was amazing, the live music was fun and made it even more personal. The secluded areas you can hide away and enjoy a glass of wine or the common areas you can enjoy being with others as well. The rooms are very nice and relaxing. Beds were comfortable along with the chairs on the private balcony. We will definitely stay again."

"The Forest House is a cute property within walking distance of downtown Georgetown, where there are many great places to eat, drink, and relax. The property is very accommodating and a comfortable place to stay. The pool and backyard area are very nice."
