"Lovely spacious room, with largest bath we’ve had. Bed and pillows (unusual husk ones, which were firm, unlike most of the too squishy ones elsewhere!) were comfortable; Buffet breakfast was great. Very convenient to station and garden, and lovely view of the little canal nearby. Staff were helpful, and friendly, and we took up a suggestion to go to Kurashiki Bikan, which we enjoyed. The display of local arts and crafts n the lobby and on each floor was an interesting touch. Would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"Location was a easy 10 minute walk from the train station. Check in was a breeze, staff super helpful and all this while there was some drama going on with a European guest. The room was generous by Japanese standards and the AC was perfect. During my stay, the housekeeping staff was very attentive.The rooftop onsen was wonderful. I have come to count on Dormy Inn properties as a go-to in Japan. "
