"Fabulous spot for a long weekend away from Auckland. The sea view from the main property is amazing, and the pool / games barn a great place for the kids to be entertained. The hosts are incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We stayed in the Kohinui (family) cottage - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and heat pumps/AC in every room. "From the moment you drive down the driveway you know you are in for the biggest treat. Beautifully crafted stand alone units with high end attention to detail will delight any visitor. It’s the wonderful hosts Graeme and Lisa that complete an all together wonderful stay. Ahuru Lodge has been created with every travellers detail in mind see the cinema….Our breakfast was excellent and so spoilt with Lisa’s coffee! The only negative is that we had to head back home. Can’t wait for the next visit. "
