Holiday home close to the Robertville lake

At the foot of the High Fens lies this authentic holiday home. The old farmhouse has been completely renovated with a good eye for originality, eco-friendliness and comfort. The home is perfect for many families and features a sauna and jacuzzi, so that guests can relax and rejuvenate. In summers, the jacuzzi temperature is maintained at 34 degrees and does not work with electricity but with pellets.

You can go for long walks or hikes in the surrounding area. The beautiful surroundings are full of great hiking trails. A castle can be found nearby, and Lake Robertville is definitely a must-see too. The nearby town of Malmedy offers entertainment for young and old.

In one of the bedrooms everything is made of wood, even the sink is hidden in a wooden built-in cupboard. From the bathroom, if you're lucky, you can admire a bird's nest under the edge of the roof. And outside, the courtyard with playground equipment or the large volleyball court offer space for everyone. And as if that wasn't enough, you will find a wonderful authentic oven under a roof in the courtyard. Ideal for baking your own pizzas in it. Being a child friendly property, trampoline, boules court, cot and high chair are also available. Max. 1 pet is allowed for a small fee on this property. Or who will discover the unique fire corner? The owner will be happy to show you all the hidden treasures of this holiday home.

A few metres away from the main house is a small outbuilding. Two to four people can sleep here. The environmentally friendly concept goes even further here with a 'dry' toilet and a 'pure nature' rain shower.

Großartig!
Ein unfassbar charmantes Haus, weit weg vom Trubel. Wir haben das Grundstück, Whirlpool, Sauna, Pizzaofen und co sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Die Nebenkosten sind relativ hoch, allerdings werden die ja auch überall angekündigt. Der Kontakt vor Ort war sehr nett und bemüht. Uns wurde das Haus sehr genau gezeigt.

Agréable mais mauvaise surprise au niveau du prix
Le gîte est très spacieux, bien aménagé et original. La zone piscine, mur d'escalade et sauna est clairement un plus. Il manque cependant une grande pièce pour se réunir autrement qu'autour de la table de repas. Mais les coûts énergétiques sont prohibitifs. Au prix de la location convenu, il nous a été facturé un surcoût de pratiquement 50% pour l'énergie, essentiellement le chauffage. Pourtant nous avons fait très attention. Et alors qu'on nous facture des frais de nettoyage importants, nous faire payer un sac poubelle et son évacuation est vraiment exagéré. Certes, il était clair dès le début que la consommation énergétique serait facturée, et les coûts unitaires annoncés. Mais comment savoir que le bâtiment consommait autant ? C'est vraiment dommage, car l'endroit est agréable, mais nous avons vraiment l'impression d'avoir été trompés.
