Shores Waikoloa - Remodeled 1 Bedroom Condo

Shores Waikoloa is a gated community surrounded by the dramatic lava fields that encompasses the Waikoloa Resort.

You will find that our one bedroom unit with NEW Central AC is the perfect location for your next vacation and offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Shores Waikoloa offers exclusive tennis courts, fitness center, swimming pool & hot tub and barbecues for the guests to enjoy.

Our recently remodeled unit with new central AC is fully furnished and has all you need to enjoy your next Hawaiian Vacation. The generous wrap-around lanai offers privacy and peaceful setting with the surrounding palm trees. Our lanai is the perfect spot to experience the Hawaiian indoor/outdoor living, to share a meal or just unwind and relax in one of the chaise lounges.

The master bedroom offers comfortable large bed and TV with cable. Our fully remodel master bathroom offers large walk in shower and dual vanity. Upon request, we set up a rollaway bed for a third guest.

The living room has a TV with cable channels and plenty of seating area. A powder room is located off the entryway for your convenience.

The Kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and it is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Washer & dryer are conveniently located adjacent to the kitchen.

Beach essentials provided: cooler; beach chair; beach towels; beach umbrella.

Our unit has a Reserved and Free parking spot. Additional Guest parking spots are available throughout the community. We are located on the second floor but our building offers elevator for easy access to the unit.

BBQ grills are available right outside the pool area.

We are available to assist you throughout your stay.

Waikoloa Resort is a very walkable area and Our great central location within the Resort allows you the opportunity to easily explore many of it’s attractions such as as the Petroglyphs, shopping at Queens and King Shop, diverse dining options, luaus and the famous Anaeho'omalu Bay. We are located in between 2 renowned golf courses: Beach and King’s Course.

Anaeho'omalu Bay or A-Bay is a beautiful white sand beach that attracts many tourists daily. A-Bay is famous for its tranquil waters and multiple water activities options such as: swimming, snorkeling, stand up paddle, canoe paddling, sailing, windsurfing, boat tours such as glass-bottom boat, dive boats, whale watch tours. When hanging out at A-Bay you most likely will encounter a Honu (Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle) either swimming or taking a nap.

Shores Waikoloa is located within Waikoloa Resort and many of it's attractions such as: beaches, shops, coffee shops, restaurants and more are located about 10-30 minute walk.

Our second time wintering at “The Shores” but first time in this unit. The unit was well stocked for our stay and after a day or so we had television, spectrum etc figured out. The lanai got morning sun but shade in the afternoon which suited us nicely. We had no issues while we were there and had some, but minimal, contact with our host. We plan to return in the future.

Great location, Great property
Loved the property and the accommodations. Very clean, and lovely view of the mountains. About a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach, but there are also a number of beaches within a short driving distance. We arrived about an hour early and I contacted the host to see if we could check in a little early, and she was very accommodating. Already booked for next year!

We loved our stay here. It was clean, with such beautiful views. We woke every morning to beautiful bird calls saying hello to the sun. We ate breakfast every morning on the lanai. And the bed... It's the best sleep I've had in ages. They had everything there you could need. I hope we get to come back!

Wonderful home!
We spent a week at the Condo, and it was lovely! The home itself is in a quiet neighborhood and has been updated without losing the charm of the original unit. I can also confirm the AC has been updated and works well. It was also very clean. They have beach towel, umbrella, chairs and cooler to use. All of which were a lifesaver! The owners were easy to contact if needed and were in touch throughout our stay to make sure everything was ok. The location was perfect to access the numerous beaches nearby as well as Waimea. Even the drive to the observatory and Hilo was just over an hour. Would highly recommend!

Important features for me were the location in the Waikoloa Beach Resort area, the walking distance to the beach, and the exercise facility. It’s a well-maintained property that’s generally fairly quiet, which is important to me because I like to start my day slowly with a long session on the lanai reading and drinking coffee. This was my second visit to Shores Waikoloa (previously there in Dec 2019) and I still haven’t used the pool.

Waikoloa Shores
This rental was spacious, and the lanai and shower were nice. Having lived on the Big Island and hosting many visitors in a variety of rentals, and also visiting and renting many different places around the island, this rental does not have local flavor or any amenities to speak of (as we have found customary in other rentals here). Having arrived late Thursday night, we were a bit shocked to get up in the morning, and find there was not even any complimentary coffee in the kitchen. Other island rentals (even those much less costly) have a some touches like coffee, tea, a few basics in the kitchen, maybe some flowers on the table. There was not one local magazine or any 'Hawaii effects' at all. I would suggest that those are the little things that make a big difference, particularly if you are advertising "luxury" accommodations. We enjoyed the location to places and activities that we enjoy in this part of the island. Mahalo, Joan & David Wasser

Lovely spacious condo
Onle problem was trying to get the TV in the living room to work. We contacted the manager several times who did send someone over to troubleshoot what was going on with it. We were able to get it working some of the time, but way too complicated for simply wanting to turn it on and off .

Amazing, Quiet Spot to Enjoy Big Island
The location is perfect! Close to the airport, beaches, and Kona. The closest beach is within walking distance, but I recommend Hapuna beach nearby(~15 minute drive). The condo was clean and comfortable and the area is gorgeous with amazing plants and wildlife. There was a something new to see everyday just walking around the condo. We loved our stay!

Great location. Very clean. Nice and easy check-in process.
We enjoyed our stay and everything went as planned. We are retired and visit Hawaii every November. The only thing I would like to see change is a quiet time for adults only at the pool. While the rules are clear there was a lot of jumping, diving and horse play with children 2 of the 4 times were were there and it really distracts from the enjoyment of a quiet and relaxing day at the pool.

Not clean...would not recommend it.
In an age of COVID-19 this place was not well kept. All the old and cheap furniture was dusty, but particularly bad were the counter surfaces and the porcelain floors were absolutely filthy. As is Hawaiian custom, shoes come off at the door...except then ones feet instantly became dirty. Flip flops were a must (the condos use of liquid ant traps tell a tale, too). Also the elevator worked maybe 40% of the time...bad knees make walking up/down stairs annoying. No TV service til we called the property manager. We've stayed in over a dozen VRBO properties. Most are exceptional. This one is not.

Absolutely love this condo! Spacious, GREAT appliances, patio is lovely! Well equipped and felt like a better version of home! I seriously wish this was our apartment back home. My only complaint is the hanging blinds. I hate how easily they break and come down. Other than that, everything else is fine.

Awesome condo!
We really enjoyed our two week stay at this condo. It is an easy walk to the beach, grocery store, several restaurants. We enjoyed getting a mai tai to go from a bar about 100 yards from the condo. We grilled out at the communal grills many nights and found our neighbors very friendly on the rare occassion we shared a space with them. The property manager is awesome and very responsive!

Wonderful stay at this condo!
My husband and I stayed at this condo for 8 nights and overall it was a great experience. The pros were that it was quite large, very nice lanai with comfortable seating and a view of Maura Kea, two bathrooms with one having an updated shower and two sinks, a comfortable bed and an upright fan if needed, and two beach chairs and an umbrella are provided. The cons were that some of the blinds were broken in the living room and couldn’t be closed, the living room was very dim at night with only one light, and the TVs were frustrating to use. We followed the directions, but it took many trys to get them to work properly. Overall though, I would recommend this condo for your Hawaiian vacation!

Great Condo for 2 in Upscale Resort
Re-modeled 2nd floor (there is an elevator) condo in intimate condo resort. Tennis courts, nice pool and hot tub. Beautiful landscaping with Koi ponds. Walk to Tropic sports bar. Close to Kings and Queens shops, restaurants and golf courses. Walk to local A Bay beach. 15 minute drive to beautiful Hapuna beach and others. Condo had 2 quality beach chairs and and sun umbrella plus a boogie board. Enjoyed the large wrap around lanai and comfortable loungers and chairs. Only downside was the the vertical blinds had not been re-modeled and some were broken, notably in the bedroom which was a privacy issue as well as letting the very early morning sun flood the room with light which was not great if you wanted a lie in. We reported this and our host did send a maintenance person round who said they would get this fixed. Overall though, a pleasant experience. Would stay there again.

Peaceful paradise, walking distance to the beach
The condo is clean, spacious and has everything you need. The lanai was a favorite place anytime of day and offered beautiful views of lava fields and the sunrise over the mountain. The condo was recently update too. Bed was comfortable and two TVs if you need them. Appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, boogie board and cooler bag! There’s a washer and dryer in the unit. I would recommend this rental for a couple and 1-2 kids max. There’s a hide a bed in the living room area. The resort is super quiet, safe and the grounds are kept incredibly clean. It’s probably a 10-12 minute walk to the beach and there’s a bar/restaurant called Tropics right outside the resort gates. The pool and spa were really nice and hardly used. Tennis courts are available and many multiple BBQ stations. The area of the resort is a beautiful much bigger resort area very close to the Marriott and Hilton. A-Bay is in front of the Marriott and a place you could spend all day at, it was just beautiful. Fun restaurant on the beach called Lava Lava. Waikulua Village is about 30 minutes from the airport and 45 minutes from Kona, 25 from Waimea. Keep that in mind.

Aloha at its best
We spent two weeks at this condo - couldn't have been better. Perfect in every aspect for the two of us. Coffee on the large lanai watching the sunrise and the Muana Kea summit was a perfect start to each day. Evening cocktail hour on the lanai was a perfect ending to each day. The many windows and slider door allowed for the tradewinds and sunshine to breeze through the condo, at night the air conditioner kept us cool, if needed. The beach towels, umbrella, cooler and chairs were put to good use each and every day. The Waikoloa Shores property is beautiful - flowers and foliage everywhere. Barbecues, pool, fitness center - what more is needed? Waikoloa Shores is located on the Waikoloa Resort - with hotels, shops, restaurants, beach - all in walking distance. A short drive away are spectacular beaches, Waimea town, Da Fish house for fresh caught fish is up the road. A must stop is the Malasada Mobile at the exit to Kuapo. Say hi to Candy! Stay at this condo - absolutely!!
