Mokuleia Beach House - Your Escape on the Beach!

Aloha! Welcome to the - Mokuleia Beach House - on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. The Mokuleia Beach House is a family owned beach house situated in a private section of Mokuleia. Approximately 30 minutes from Honolulu and Honolulu International Airport, and only ten minutes from the great restaurants and shops of nostalgic Haleiwa Town. Nearby along the coastal highway you will find the world famous surfing communities and beaches of Waimea Bay, Bonzai Pipeline and Sunset Beach.
This beautiful country home sits right on the beach, on over an acre of land, surrounded by tropical landscaping, ocean views and our lovely island sky. White sands and blue-green ocean stretch for miles in each direction. The beach house is secluded, with very few neighbors and rarely a soul on the beach. It's your world - your escape - from sunrise to sunset! Truly a one of a kind island experience! Please direct any questions to Mokuleia Beach House on gmail.

The Mokuleia Beach House sleeps up to 16 guests. Each of its five bedrooms are furnished with King size beds along with an upstairs loft which has two king size beds and two twin beds. The three master bedrooms have their own bathroom & balcony or lanai overlooking our slice of the Pacific. There are lovely ocean views as well as mountain and forest views from the house and living room. The kitchen is large and fully equipped to take care of all your cooking needs. Done in an Hawaiian theme, our beach house is fully functional and comfortable.

You can view many of Hawaii's endangered and protected wildlife right from the property; whales (Dec - May), dolphins, the Hawaiian Monk seal, and the Hawaiian owl can be seen from the property. Beach combing is a must!

This property has been our escape 'to the country' for generations. We believe the Mokuleia Beach House will be a welcome escape for you and yours as well!

Heavenly Beachfront Oasis
We met for a family reunion with our kids and grandkids - 15 of us. The house was perfect for sleeping, eating and entertaining areas. The shaded back deck shaded provided a dreamy view of the ocean. Wonderful yard and easy access to beach all to ourselves - pure heaven! Large kitchen and huge island and 2 frig/freezers was great. Cleaning and furnishings need some attention, but I will give my suggestions privately to the host. We would definitely rent the home again. We loved the north shore low key vibe, quaint shops & restaurants and easy access to Laie, Pearl Harbor and other beaches. We took the Jurassic Adventure Tour at Kualoa Ranch and loved it. Waimea Falls swim, hike thru gardens, artisans and luau was awesome!! Snorkel up the beach from the house and also at Shark Cove. All we needed was more days to enjoy this amazing island. Thank you so much for sharing your home with our 'Ohana.

Great House!
We loved this house! There was plenty of rooms, space, bathrooms, and bedrooms for our family of 10. The kitchen was enormous! Having two fridges was amazing. We loved being right on the beach. Daily walks included seeing surfers, sea turtles and monk seals. On the other side of the road from the property is a small airport but that also brought fun things to see. We watched glider planes, many skydivers, and even a little motorized glider go kart (like Mario) flying through the air. The fenced in yard was well groomed. There were outdoor toys and life jackets for kids. The check in/out process was easy and we were greeted by the owner on arrival. We’ve stayed on the North Shore twice now and would choose this house again!

Amazing Private Beachfront Getaway!
We had the BEST time at this house! We had 3 generations and EVERYONE enjoyed the stay. The kids were happy playing in the beautiful gardens, searching for geckos and snails. We saw whales on daily basis. We enjoyed beachcombing and boogie boarding right in front of the house. We found a calm swimming beach with great snorkeling about 10 minutes away at Aweoweo beach park. The family had lots of space to spread out in the 5 bedrooms. 3 of the bedrooms had an attached bathroom. 2 of the bedrooms had amazing ocean views and balconies/patios. Yep other rooms had a beautiful view of the garden and waterfall. And. . . In addition to the 5 bedrooms, there was a large loft with 4 beds! Wow! We loved being away from the hustle and busy of the busy tourist areas. I completely relaxed knowing that the entire property was secure and my two young children could roam the front and back yards and gardens. And we also loved the little surf town of Haleiwa that was about 10 minutes away. We will definitely be back!

Family Holiday
The house is wonderful layout for a family group of 3 families,10 people plus baby. The backyard and porch were awesome for family games , etc. the beach is beautiful but ocean a rough for swimming, a cove within walking better. House is a little rustic, but new owners are updating. We had Chef Bobby prepare dinners for us which worked out perfectly.

Vacation of a life time!
This beach house was beautiful! The kitchen was huge, the bed and bedrooms were very comfortable. There were 2 refrigerators and lots of plates, bowls, platters and silverware. The washer and dryer came in very handy, and the entire house was spacious and fantastic. The yard was roomy, we played croquette and bacci ball, and just beyond the grass, was the gate to the beach. It was beautiful and the waves were wonderful! We had lots of fun boogie boarding, snorkeling and enjoying the sun rises and sunsets. We can't wait to go back! Bobby, our host was outstanding! When we needed to contact him, he was right there. Our vacation was a trip of a life time! Mahalo!!

Paradise!
Spectacular home on the north shore of Oahu! Very private, beautifully decorated with Hawaiian fabrics and bamboo, well stocked, surrounded by tropical vegetation, large lawn area, directly on the beach! The gracious host provided just the right amount of attention and helped us with all we needed to learn about the island. We had the vacation of a lifetime with our three children and their spouses and our six grandchildren. We spent our days on the beach or exploring the island then made dinner in a large well stocked kitchen, ate outside on a wonderful large table, room for kickball or capture the flag or croquet on the lawn, then s’mores around a big fire pit as the sun set. Most of Oahu is very busy with tourists and this house was just the quiet private oasis we needed!

The home is right on the water, big and spacious.
Bobbie is super helpful and attentive. The few problems we had he fixed right away. Two thoughts: there is no AC. Most of the time, this was a non-issue: the breeze and open plan work great. But there were some times when that (plus the floor fans) wasn’t enough. My son stayed up stairs where only one window facing southwest was not enough and he complained about the lack of AC. Second thought is the place could use a little TLC. Nothing major: paint/wipe down doors near knobs, touch up paint here and there, wall and linoleum repairs.

Awesome house and location
This was a beautiful stay on a part of the island that felt like we had it all to ourselves! Nobody on the beaches, just us. The wildlife that was around was totally amazing - a monk seal on the first day, we swam with turtles, plenty of fish to see, we saw a mongoose, on and on. Just no end of fascination! The house was great for our 3 families. Plenty of room for all of us. Bobby (the owner) was a wonderful host, always available and responsive to any questions. We all had an absolutely delightful time!

Amazing House!
This house is amazing! It provided the perfect spot for our family celebration, which included adults, teens, and a toddler. Plenty of room and beds for all. Huge kitchen with two refrigerators which we kept stocked the whole stay. The dining table allowed for wonderful family dinners each night. Breakfasts were enjoyed each morning on the lanai. The view is just spectacular. We enjoyed stargazing at night and fires in the yard. The beach is right outside the property but it is a bit rocky so be sure to have water shoes. We explored other beaches throughout the island but loved the convenience of the beach right at our fingertips. Great body surfing waves. We even spotted a stingray on our last morning! Close to hiking trails at the end of the island. Close to a greAt little town, Haleiwa, which has bars, restaurants, and shave ice. This house provided the space for a family trip that will be remembered forever. Thank you Bobby and Jennifer! Aloha and we hope to be back again one day.

Perfect vacation!
Great location, great hosts and great house! Our extended family had plenty of room and the snorkeling was great each day. And our hosts were so helpful! They even advised us how to deal with a very painful sea urchin encounter (vinegar!). Also, this the most complete kitchen we’ve ever had. Thank you again Bobby & Jennifer!

We will be back, we had a fantastic time, the house suited us perfectly considering there was 13 of us. We all felt so comfortable here, great beach, plenty of room for the little kids to play. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The town of Haleiwa had great shopping and restaurants for dinner, such a cool town. Great Hawaiian Beach Rental!!
We vacation in Hawaii almost every other year and I think this might be the best spot yet. Plenty of room for our three families. Six adults and six children total. Giant loft upstairs with two king size beds and several twin beds were perfect for the kids to have their own space and give us ours! Flowers in all the bedrooms was a nice touch. Kitchen had everything. Beds were comfortable. Nice front lawn great for fierce croquet games and cocktails at sunset. The fire pit was a welcome surprise and became a nightly event. The beach was beautiful and secluded and felt like it was our own private beach. The kids snorkeled in front and saw lots of turtles. We even saw whales from the front deck in the mornings. All and all, a great beach house that suited all our needs. We would definitely recommend this property and would come back again!! Thank you to our hosts! The Lombardo family and friends

THE PERFECT FAMILY GETAWAY…PARADISE!
We hosted our 3 adult children and all the grand kids for a once in a lifetime family gathering on the beach in Hawaii. We were 8 adults and 6 grandkids ranging from 2-17yrs old, traveling from all over so it was important that we found the right property….and thank God we did! We had read a 3 star review on this property that posted just days before our trip and to be honest we were a bit nervous. But to our delight, the house was perfect for us! Large and spacious and spotless on our arrival. We had great weather the whole week and no problem with wet pillows lol. The kitchen was huge and fully stocked with everything we needed. There were even 2 large refrigerators which came in handy with 14 people. The dinning room was spacious with a large dinning table big enough for all 14 people to eat together—that was key. The house is right on the beach with a front yard facing the ocean. We spent a lot of time enjoying the beautiful lawn which was perfect for the kids to play croquet and baci ball. They even have a fire pit in the front yard and every night the kids had a bonfire from drift wood they collected from the beach during the day. Roasting marshmallows on the beach in Hawaii in March was a far cry from shoveling snow in N. Dakota! We explored away from the beach house and found gorgeous beaches all along the north shore. We found the cutest little surf town called Haleiwa about 10 minutes away from the beach house which was great for walking around and shopping or eating out when we didn’t feel like cooking. This property was ideal for our large family and hopefully we’ll be back again! The Morgans from Grand Forks

Great outside, good space, but wear and tear was uncomfortable
We stayed for 4 nights with three couples (6 adults, 6 kids ages 7,5,4,3,1,1). We came away with mixed feelings. Good: location was private, secluded. grass backyard was great. Beach was close and great (a bit of plastic, admittedly... but, what can you do). Turtle was spotted on beach. And the house had lots of space for kids to play & gather Not good: the house is worn. The couch in the main room has a big tear. Many of the faucets are rusted, and other rust stains pervade. Pillows in the main room were damp always. They felt gross. Most beachhouses feel this way... other than the torn couch, I wouldn't say it was gross or completely off-putting. But it wasn't as comfortable as we'd hoped for the price.

Peaceful getaway on the beach!
I stayed here with my family of seven, six adults and one ten year old in the beginning of February. The location is lovely! Right at the end of the road- which for us was a major plus being away from the hustle and bustle. The house is enormous! Really quite spacious such that everyone can have their own little hide out. You have to check out some of the local hikes! We walked out to the point- so many sea birds! And also a grueling hike up into the hills. Pros: Right on the beach, lovely porch overlooking the waves, grassy area outside where we threw a football, big and spacious, nice big kitchen. Cons: A thousand dollars a night is A LOT. The house was spotlessly clean but a little shabby for that much money- three of the bedrooms were a little dark and musty (the two ocean view bedrooms gorgeous). I don't need much of anything when so close to the beach, but there were not many amenities to justify the price; there were no usable boogie boards (all were broken) fins for snorkeling etc... I think for that much money that might have been included. That's all. I guess as someone who would never dream of spending that much on a vacation rental and viewing this a major splurge, I expected the house itself to be a little more updated and modern. But hey- its Hawaii right on the shore.
