"Nice comfortable rooms. Checked in on Christmas, knowing it was Christmas, and called a day ahead asking what my dining options were. Was told there is a reservation only buffet that requires prepayment. Fine, I don't care, I need to eat. Prepayment options consistented of Polish only banking options which don't work if you're not Polish so I was told too bad despite offering to pay pash upon arrival or anything that would ensure I could eat. "Rooms displayed on website look nothing like the rooms you receive. We had two rooms. Both were small, dark and smelly. The bathrooms smelled like old water. One room was cleaned daily, the other room was not touched by cleaning staff in three days. Neither room had hung door cleaning request. They just came in to one room but not the other. "Modern, clean and quiet. The Spa and Swimming Pool are superb, luxurious, especially for a small resort in the middle of Poland. You should advertise more across Europe - both Ciechocinek and this hotel are real gems!"

"This is a very unique property which we enjoyed very much. We had read the the reviews so we knew that it could be loud from the city square. It was! But we were prepared. We also knew that there was no AC and it happened to be unusually hot weather. But we asked for fans and they were provided the next day. No complaints from us. if you want modern-go to a modern hotel. We LOVED the history of where we were staying. We would have appreciated having coffee in the room instead of just tea...
