"Ciala is the best resort in Kisumu and the pricing is very affordable. We booked a couple rooms, since we had a big party. The staff was incredibly friendly. Security team was great. The pool was nice. They had a kids area and plenty of area to run around. One neat thing they did was catch your own fish and the staff would cook it for you from a giant fish tank. Think of it like picking a lobster, but with a lake twist. Very easy to recommend. Will gladly book again."

"Had a great time here! Our laundry was washed, ironed and neatly folded for us and brought back to our room at an affordable rate. Shower water was hot during our whole stay and we had AC in our room- just request for it at the reception. Breakfast was decent. Only downside was final payments while checking out. Their card reader doesn’t accept more than ksh 2,000 so be prepared to have either cash or mpesa, it really inconvenienced me. Other than that, service was great!"
