"Overall my husband and I were happy with the studio apt. Communication with the host was easy and the place was clean and had all the amenities we needed during our stay. The place was centrally located with easy access to shops/restaurants as well as the Metra system to take us into Chicago. The one drawback is that there are no windows but the skylight adds enough natural light to the space and we were there to sightsee and not stay for extended periods in the apartment."

"We stayed for 3 nights for the Navy RTC graduation. Close to Great Lakes for the several trips back and forth. Good accommodations with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath on each the main floor and basement. Spent lots of time together in the comfortable living room and dining room. Cute neighborhood walkable to main street with excellent parking situation. Thank you! "

"The property is older with very creeky floors and busy road out front but the neighborhood was pleasant, easy to access and had designated parking in back. Everything I googled: grocery, food, Starbucks, NEX, Navy Grad, was all 7 to 14 min away (O'Hare about 30 min). The only thing we couldn't find was beach access but were close to drive to a peer. "The ONLY bit of an issue was that there is some sort of (what I think may be a backwash cycle with a pump or septic system) noise that comes on next to 2 of the bedrooms. This often happened randomly in the middle of the night and it can be a little loud. If it is indeed a pump, maybe it could be set up and scheduled to come on only during the day. Everything else was very clean, nice, and updated."

"Stayed here to attend my grandson’s graduation from Navy boot camp. Location is convenient to the Training Center in Great Lakes. Even better it’s walking distance to downtown Libertyville, IL, which is a charming little town with some great pubs and restaurants. Apartment is clean and has the necessities. It could use a few more pots and pans for those who want to cook, but overall a good stay. "
