We had a very good time there. The host takes very good care of his guests -- organizes or guides himself desert tours (extra), cooks a traditional supper (extra), sets up a bonfire at night and entertains his guests by serving a lot of tea, playing an oud, and singing (free). It is a truly unique experience.
Practical info: You need to park your car in Wadi Rum village (about 5 km from Wadi Rum Visitor Center), tell an attendant a name of the camp, and he will call the host who will transport you to the camp by a pick-up truck. Be prepared for very cold night in the winter--tents are not heated, but you can have extra blankets. It is an essential part of the experience. :)
