"They gave me a free upgrade to a room with a view of the Rhine. The breakfast buffet was the best I've had at any European hotel. They had a designated machine only for hot chocolate, and the cocoa was so good I drank three cups. There was also a smoothie maker. Also, just a 10-minute walk to the Drachenfelsbahn."

"Great location for our overnight trip to Cologne. Short walk from the terminal and easy to return to by train at night before our morning flight. Quirky and interesting bar / check in area with great views of the airport. Bedroom was clean and comfortable with the exception of the bed. This had one bulky pillow (I'd have preferred two smaller ones) and the bed itself was narrow. Staff were great."

"Lovely stay, very close and handy for Phantasialand. Only downside is, the double bed is two singles pushed together and not connected, therefore the beds do move apart. Oh and no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms. The all you can eat buffet dinner was a bit disappointing, not that many options for the main. "
