"The house is located pretty much outside any urban noises which was exactly what we wanted. The setting of the house is very well designed. Plenty of space for sports, games, swimming in the lovely swimming pool. Overall, we had a great time staying there. We'll probably book it again in future. "

"We had an amazing visit to the heart of the Loire Valley. This is a beautifully renovated old building in the quaint old village of Larcay. A 2 minute walk to the river or an amazing little restaurant called Les Planchettes. Easy access to Tours and the many castles and vineyards in the area. It feels like travelling back in time but with all of the modern amenities. Thanks to Sylvain and Adele for everything, including the welcome bottle of delicious Vouvray! Highly recommended."

The whole area is alive with dragonflies, butterflies and birds. The house is just a short walk from the river Cher with restaurants and bars close to the river. There was some construction on the street in front of the building, but we were able to access the unit from the back lane. If you have mobility issues, the stairs would be a challenge but they were not a concern for us. Quick response from owner with any questions. Overall an excellent place and we would stay here again."

"The property has a stunning view and a great scenery. but the houses are very soberly furnished. no TV, no sofa, no wardrobes in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. no shower cubicle. in the kitchen there were very few tools. In the garden, there where no chairs or umbrella provided outside, only an uninviting picnic table"

"A fantastic week in Monts. The Moulin was ideal: tranquil river location, which was perfect for swimming kayaking and paddle boarding on the river. The children has an amazing time. Add to that the swimming pool, table tennis and table football and they had so much to do! Guests should be aware the stairs in the moulin are very steep - entirely manageable, but steep!
