"Be aware of closed days. You can get a room, but no air conditioning but mountain air and self check in. Breakfast was awesome and owner was great. Town is 10 t0 15 min away, so a bit inconvenient, BUT super quiet and relaxing. Wish the kitchen was open as we heard the food is great."

"Wonderful family-run hotel with excellent restaurant. Couple who run this hotel are friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area. They speak fluent English, which was helpful. Our meal in the restaurant was the best we had during our trip and was made with locally-sourced ingredients. The hotel itself is a beautifully restored and updated building. The fact that it is adults only ensured a quiet, restful stay. Great Black Forest location with plenty of parking."

"Situated in an apartment block with many local residents. Quiet and with immediate access to walks through the woods and to nearby towns. The kitchen is small and the bedroom very tight but all very serviceable. Host helpful and friendly. Organised passes for us, but not on site. A short drive to a pleasant town below and Triberg a few miles on has a lot to offer."

"Excellent property. Rooms were nice, Modern, Clean, comfortable, andSpacious. And they had AC. the breakfast was good and the lounge downstairs was very nice to watch football in as well. Highly recommend this property. During our touring vacation we stayed at 10 different hotels. This one was by far the best. "
