"Villa Bokeh is my favorite oasis in Antigua! The property is stunning, a peace of Heaven and comfort. The garden and landscape is so beautiful. "This is a small hotel, very well-located, in a quiet area, but near to important city landmarks, in a very walkable city (on cobblestone streets). The interior courtyard/gardens were calming and pretty. The staff was very nice, though one of the evening front desk people had minimal english. Nonetheless, a great place to stay."

"Magical city and this hotel is centrally located to EVERYTHING! It's a historically significant building - mentioned during our walking tour as one of 5 buildings that survived the earthquakes in the 16th century. Rooms huge, and well appointed. Staff super friendly! "

I always say home is where the heart is and for my it is going back to my country of Guatemala. Returning and being able to hike this Volcano meant the world to me. After waking up during Alpine hours and being sick for a few weeks this may have felt like the hardest thing I had to do then but when I reached the top, every ounce of pain and worries flushed away as I soaked in the sunrise view and heard the roars of Fuego Volcano right next to me. A few months later Fuego Volcano erupted and impacted the lives of many. My heart broke and could only imagine what they went through including my amazing guide that I had for that day. Fortunately my family and the surrounding community found ways to help each other out and while not everything was recovered, they have begun restoring as much as they could. I can’t wait to go back as the city of Antigua always holds a place in my heart.
