"The location and the apartment itself were nice. But the apartment was not at all equipped for guests. There were only 3 coffee mugs and 2 of them had broken handles. There were only a few plates-- we kept having to hand wash everything. No salt/pepper, no coffee at all, no sugar-- these are basics we find in every other VRBO-style rental. This apartment had nothing but an empty (and not clean) olive oil carafe. We had to make the bed ourselves-- not the end of the world but not very welcoming. The arrival "kit" had one small roll of toilet paper and one dish sponge."

But why send us a mail the day before our arrival saying looking forward to welcoming you, come and try our delicious food: but on arrival we found out the restaurant is closed at the weekend so we had to drive to town( after a long drive already) to find a restaurant? Not impressed."
