"We had a last minute trip to kalymnos staying at Alkyonis apartments hosted by the lovely Evi who in spite of flight delays kept well In touch with us by email as well as text message. The warmest welcome greeted us on our arrival and Evi's kindness and helpful manner continued all week. The apartments are perfect for a comfortable stay in a beautiful quiet relaxing area of the island. We have loved staying so much that we are already planning our return next year. "A lovely small complex of apartments in a quiet area. Everything you need just a couple of minutes walk away, restaurants, bars, shops and of course, the beach. After having all the enjoyment and excitement that kos has to offer, its nice to come back to the apartment and relax in what is a very peaceful setting. "A nice hotel but as it was the start of the season, a little disorganised in terms of the rooms, what was provided etc. The first room allocated was under the bar and very noisy at night. There were also constant issues with corridor lighting not being turned off. We moved rooms eventually, which did help. However, overall I wouldn't go back because of the noise issue and the general quality of some of the rooms."

"Please stay somewhere else!!!! We stayed as a party of 4 with 3 rooms. Our room didn’t have hot water in the morning and their response was that we needed to wait until 9 or so. Our friend’s rooms, which were not near the office, had no Wi-Fi and it wasn’t addressed. The beds were hard, cheap and you were able to feel the springs. We were all sore in the morning. "I wish I had stayed more than one night. It really was an awesome place to stay if you just want to relax for a few days. Everything you need is on site. The glass of ice tea at check in and gift basket in the room were a very nice welcoming touch. I would have loved to check out one of the bikes to explore the area. The dinner and breakfast at the on site restaurant were wonderful! Next time I will stay longer. The only thing I would have done different was the transportantion to the property....
