It has a very gentle ambience in a suburban part of Visp within walking distance to the town centre and station. The building is operated by a Christian organisation. The building is located up a hill and there is a bus stop outside as well as plenty of parking The rooms are similar to those in university halls of residence

This is a hybrid inn and religious retreat center in a beautiful part of Visp, just above the old town and cemetery. The facilities are modest but clean and of high quality. The rooms don't have TVs or radios or phones, given need to maintain quiet. The retreat has a nice garden outside.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed!
Very basic accommodations, minimalistic, which is what was expected. Great condition, comfortable bed. Perfect place to retreat to after a long day of hiking.

Very Swiss! Functional and perfect.
We missed the check-in deadline and the team left the key for us in the mailbox. The room was perfect. The bed was very comfortable, the linen was excellent and the shower was powerful. The surrounding area was very quiet. It was just great!!! I’ll stay there again without thinking twice.

Simple, Practical Rooms
The hotel (staffed by nuns!) is simple, quiet and a good place to stop after a long drive. The rooms are comfortable, but intentionally basic: do not expect a TV or a mini bar. There is WiFi, a cafeteria for coffee or beer, and you can opt-in to breakfast. Parking is very close and in a safe spot. I’d highly recommend the hotel as a base to explore the region for a day or two (I caught the train to Zermatt & Gornergrat), and Visp itself is a perfectly quiet little town.

Eine Eine-Nacht-Übernachtung
Man kann in der Jugendunterkunft für Schweizer Verhältinisse günstig übernachten. Das sind dann natürlich Gruppenzimmer mit extra Bad ein paar Räume weiter. Eine Lüftung im Bad wäre angebracht. Das Dachfenster ist nicht zum Öffnen gedacht. Tja und nebenan kann es sein dass der Hubschrauber auf dem Krankenhausdach landet. Das ist dann halt gefühlt der Start eines Sternenzerstörers nebenan. Immerhin sind die Piloten absolute Profis und landen auf den Punkt ohne überflüssige Vorsicht, die das Inferno verlängern würde

Hotel in die Jahre gekommen. Zimmer sollten renoviert werden. Preis günstig im Vergleich mit anderen Hotels in Visp. Speziell positiv erwähnt sei aber die Parkmöglichkeit für Velos! Sogar mit Steckerleiste zum laden. Ganz toll
