"Please notice that the reception closes already at 4 pm, even though the reservation email said that check-in is from 3 pm to 12 pm. So in reality the check-in is possible at the reception from 3 pm to 4 pm. If you come later, make sure that you get a separate email with the instructions to pick up the key - for some reaso we didn't receive it, and it was quite a trouble to try to get in to our room at 6 pm, as the phone number provided on the reservation confirmation didn't pick up after 4...

Unique, Historic Inn Near Center of Old Town Visby

"Historic hotel with ancient church ruins as one wall of our room. Delicious breakfast buffet with local cheeses and honey. Near the center of the walled Old Town, convenient to restaurants, shops, grocery store, and cathedral. Staff were friendly, helpful, and considerate, and spoke excellent English."

"Gorgeous property within the old city walls. Easy to walk to restaurants, stores, and attractions. Breakfast and pool/ spa were fantastic l. Stayed in winter, was very quiet, I assume it is busier in summer. Booked a family room with bunk bed, loved having the extra space and privacy. "

"We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful and convenient. We stayed in the 1-bed apartment for 4. It came with full size kitchen, huge bath, washer/dryer and a cute balcony. Friendly staff and yummy breakfast. The apartment is right next to a popular night club. We were there from Wed to Fri and they had events with loud music every night until 2am which could be a problem for someone who enjoy quiet night. "

"Staff will do everything to make sure your trip to Visby is a wonderful one. We had a personal emergency come up and the hotel owner sprung into action to make sure we could handle the situation as smoothly as possible from Sweden. Excellent breakfast included with gluten free options, room was lovely - old touches like stained glass and exposed brick wall but also modern, and the location was two turns away from the tourist hub, so it was quiet. The courtyard is lovely. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else on Gotland island. "

"I forgot to write my review earlier when I stayed there in May 2024. It’s a beautiful location, I stayed in a cabin with an uninterrupted view of the sea. I walked everyday into Visby along the footpath on the coast, it was gorgeous. The room was clean and staff super friendly and professional. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone, as the rooms are clean, great staff, and great rates."
