Everyone wants a “Play Day” at the beach! Cute house on the bayside has the bonus of a short walk to the beach on one side, but plenty of quiet streets and a private pool on the other! Nice updates throughout the house has refreshed and rejuvenated this cozy beach cottage. Everyone will love the private pool and hot tub, but the garage doubles as a rec room with a pool table, a foosball table, and an additional mini fridge and mini freezer for drinks and snacks. The top level has a huge back deck so everyone can enjoy the ocean breezes, and the front deck has a hot tub sure to melt the stress away.

We know you are here for the beach and it's an easy walk there for long, lazy days sunning, surfing and playing. Spend all day on the beach and when you return everyone has more to complete their “Play Day” at this adorable beach property.

All Sandbridge Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

BED BUG infestation!
Woke up after being there 1 night and had bed bugs on my face. Sent managers picture and video. They sent pest control to spray the room (S) and housekeeping to remake the beds (which she NEVER did). To rectify this they offered my an EXTRA DAY stay... instead of hotel compensation or a refund. 4 days later I was offered a small compensation and declined. I deserve way more than what was offered. I only stayed 1 night!

Very Disappointed
This house looked great but there were many issues. I had to wear socks when we first got there because the floors turned my feet black from dirt. In addition, the hot tub is not functioning right. The temperature was set to 103 and it would not get higher than 95. We had to call multiple times and the solution was for us to flip the breaker. I should not need to flip a beaker three or four times while staying some where just to enjoy the hot tub. The fact that it only went up to 95 degrees when the top was on, and it was heating for greater than 7 hours was unacceptable. We typically only pick houses with hot tubs and this was a waste of our pick. The freezer would not freezer our drinks, the ice was melting while in the freezer and over the course of four days the ice machine only made 7 ice cubes. The dishwasher is broken, the piece that holds in the dish detergent has snapped so there is no way to close it. The sliding glass door to the back room is almost impossible to open, it has to be lifted and pushed at the same time - it just needs to be replaced. We travel every year and have never had a house that was so outdated and had so many things that needed to be fixed. I was very disappointed and would never stay here again. The only things we liked was the layout and the number of beds.

Our Day at Play Day
I thought the house was just what it was advertised to be. Nice location, quiet area, short distance to beach. the pool was great having, everyone was in it every day. The game room was a little dirty but useable. Overall it was a nice vacation but like all, too short!!! The only real issue was the one burner on the cook top was cracked and the manager said a new one had been ordered. Slowed down the cooking process only having one big burner but we worked around that. Overall it was a great vacation!!!

Lovely/however???
I must say the property wasnt terrible. There were spiderwebs on everything in the game room, doorway openings to outside. The jacuzzi area was full of debris like it wasnt cleaned of sticks from branches in a long while, broken furniture sitting on the deck. Lots of rusting on pool and deck chairs. The electronic game does not work in the game room/garage.(it should no longer be advertised) neither should the ping pong table. We bought pong pong paddles and balls thinking we had a place to play and again there was false advertisement. The place stinks of mildew/mold in the air. My 23 year old walked around with his shirt over his nose everyday. Over all the space was nice, it had plenty of dishes/pots/pans/silver. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms spacious. The master bath sink was clogged the entire stay though. Very close to the beach. Literally around the corner. This place would be extremely cozy if they went the extra mile to clean up a bit more and fix the moldy smell.

The property was okay. The kitchen was nice and well equipped. The front, rear balconies and enclosed porch were fabulous and spacious. The main bedroom bed was comfy but the skylight made it difficult to sleep in but nice if you are an early riser. One bedroom had an extremely uncomfortable mattress but the property managers rectified that issue quickly and effectively. The living room definitely needs new furniture as the couch and loveseat were VERY WORN OUT!!!!! The game room/garage was full of spider webs, spiders and the games were not up to date. The pool table was uneven and there were no tips on the pool sticks. The electronic game did not work and the dart board did not have proper darts. We will use Sandbridge again but not this property as the amount paid should have included all working, clean and comfort items listed above. Also, the cleaning crew did an excellent job of preparing the house except the garage/game room.

Great location and amenities!
The house was great in that the living space was very open for all of us to hang out and lots of beds. Unfortunately, the hot tub stopped working the first night so we didn’t get to enjoy it the whole time-management did respond quickly to my request though. The place upon arrival was not very clean. The floors had a gritty feeling, turned our feet black and the showers had buildup in them. I could tell the place had not been deep cleaned for some time. Lots of dirt and dust in the corners and on baseboards. Lots of spiders and webs in the outside area and garAge. The house location is awesome and lots of parking-it just needs some deep cleaning and carpet replacement on the stairs and it would be a great place.

The property was a perfect set up for our group. We enjoyed all the space the house offered, the hot tub and the pool. The house does need some tender loving care; however it did not keep us from having a blast. We would be willing to work on the house to bring it back to life. Some fresh trim, painting and deck repair would make all the difference. Desparate need of new living room couches. Would be willing to locate some inexpensive furniture so this place can meet its natural potential.

House was nice, but outside of house could use a good cleaning (i.e. bugs, spiders, spider webs, etc.) and basement area with games needs cleaned -- full of dirt, spiders, bugs, etc. If advertising games then games should be repaired so that they are usable (no tips on pool sticks, video game didn't work, etc.) Pool and hot tub were nice.

I was hoping this property was better than the previous reviews had stated….it was not. The home is in disrepair, the furniture is tattered, and the cleaning staff leaves much to be desired. We will not ever book this home again. As for the rental process and company, it was extremely easy and any issue we had while staying there was addressed immediately. I would rent from the company again, just definitely not this property. We were very disappointed in our accommodations, but we improvised our way through and tried not to let it ruin our time together.

Unbelieveabke Disaster at Sandbridge PlayDay
Disastrously filthy not cleaned or sheets changed, but even worse—feces in a high chair, MOLD,, cobwebs in windows, broken TVs, misrepresentation in pictures, bug grossness all over countertops even pool balls—sand all over the floors, looked like it had been cleaned in over a year. Sent pictures to management and though they apologized they were slow to react to the situation that needed immediate action. Because we had no other options for alternative housing, we had to stay and spend two days cleaning; couldn’t get the general manager on the phone until Monday; management did finally send a thorough cleaning team on Wed, (that’s 5 days after check in) Worked with at least 5 maintenance staff during the week coming and going. I am not blaming any staff that worked on the house. Each one said the house’s condition was unbelievable and said someone had dropped the ball. Even worse the real cleaning did not come till Wed. I absolutely blame management and their partnership with the owner for not doing more on the money side (gift card & $130 for doing the cleaning—not much for compensation for the over 20 hours we had to clean during or vacation, our need to buy new sheets; and working with maintenance to have things fixed. so we could sleep in improved sanitary conditions; new linen did not arrive until Wed. Unbelievable disaster in Customer Service! Sandbridge Blue boasts on their ads that they are #1 in bookings; too bad they don’t rank #1 in customer service and repeated customers! My family will not be coming back to Sandbridge. AND HOMOWNER you should be ashamed that we had to do your job of home upkeep and only offer to give us a discount if we want to come back to Play Day next year. I am a reasonable person, but I did not work to save money for a family vacation and end up having a working vacation. because negligence on Sandbridge Blue and Play Day homeownership.

Fun beach house
Had a fun weekend at Play Day. Honestly the house isn’t in the greatest of conditions. Bedrooms were all fine but the house has a lot of wear and tear, decks were in poor shape, grill was unusable but we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was perfect for a friends golf/beach weeekend. It could be a great house if they put a little love into it and restored the mini golf/putting greens in the backyard. Check in/out was seamless.

My family and I don't need much to have a great time. While there were some things that needed some tlc, we were happy and satisfied. Yes there was trash under the chair, and not all the game room items were operable but the bones of the house was clean. The many patios were wonderful! I think it definitely needs some updating and repairs. When we moved the couch there was all kinds of trash and dirt under it. The couches were basically something that I wouldn’t even give away they were in such poor condition. When we first arrived I sprayed all of the beds with Lysol and when I moved the bath towel off the top bunk it was covered in either feces or mud. I wasn’t going to investigate. The location of the home was great but the owner really needs to do some updates and get a new cleaning crew.

My group thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was just a little dirty when we arrived. Dust, sand and dirt were in the kitchen/living room. I also found a few spider webs throughout the house. A deeper clean would do wonders for this house.

Great location and nice setup
Can’t beat the location and the setup of this house. For a fun getaway with adult friends/ cousins guys trip, it was perfect. The pool and garage area were the perfect spots to hang out and enjoy the great weather. Cleanliness of the house was just okay- not sure this is a house I would bring my little children to. We had a rough start to the weekend with the cleaning crews still working until 4:45 when we showed up at 4 with cold food that had to get in the refrigerator. We were then told that housekeeping had until 6 pm if they needed(not sure how that works). Once in we had a great time tho. We would come back with a similar group again.

Game Room :(
The home was great, especially for the time we went. Pool was freezing cold, but the hot tub was a plus. The game room, there were no tips for the darts and the ping pong paddles were in terrible shape. The arcade game did not work and the TV would turn on but no picture. The main reason we chose this home over the others was for the game room so that was a big disappointment. The property manager said he had paddles in the shop and would get some back to us and that he would check about dart tips. After us calling them a few times we were told the tips were on order and nothing about the paddles. The tips being on order was great...for the next family staying there. It did us no good at all. The weather was nothing but rain the entire weekend so the game room was the good choice...it just would have worked out a lot better had it matched up to it listing.
