Horrible experiemce, still no resolution
I thought it would be a great idea to bring all my friends and family together in one of Vacasa”s Sandbridge beach houses for a long thanksgiving weekend of food, football and fun. We arrived on November 27th, unloaded everything into the house and found there was no internet or cable. Notified the house manager messaging who told me they were working on it and would let me know. Discovered the next day the entire cable line was cut and wrapped with caution tape. I called/texted every day but no one tried to HELP resolve the internet issue. On further inspection, the house had clearly not been inspected between guests to ensure all the amenities on the listing were available. Decorations were still hanging from the previous guests, the windows and indoor lights were filthy, and ceiling grates were clogged with dirt and dust. Several of the outside fence boards were broken and we didn’t think it would be safe to let our dogs out, especially with the neighbors dogs.When a maintenance man arrived on Friday, he laughed at the situation and said he really couldn’t do anything but the owner had to have known there was no cable. Two of my guests couldn’t use the internet for work on Friday and had to cut their trip short and go back home to do their work. FaceTime calls couldn’t be made on Thanksgiving not to mention no parade or football game traditions. We also ended our trip early. Horrible experience with zero resolution. How can a business operate this way?
