"We spend at the hotel ,Easter and week after Hotel is very clean ,nice decorated bed comfortable 😁 you need good rest after walking around town even though not much is open during off season 😁,most we love is convenient with all needed ,transportation, many walking distances restaurant, shops.. You feel like you're in the right spot ,Stuff beyond nice , we already made reservations and will be back for memorial week 😀 "

Sandy beaches, farmlands, fishing docks, harbor towns and tall lighthouses, Its Martha's Vineyard! It is around an hour of boat ride from Cape Cod to the Oak Bluffs. MV accessible only by boat or air.
This picture was of course taken in summer :) Bright sunny day with blue sky and lush green. In the background is the famous east chop lighthouse. The best of my memories of MV are from East Chop. We rented a bright Red scooter near the Oak Bluffs harbor after getting off from ferry, kicked off our slippers, rode to the sunset ;) I meant we drove to East Chop:)

Must Do : Get that pretty but awfully slow red scooter, drive to the light house, live the dream :)

"This was my boyfriends 45th birthday weekend. We both have never been to Martha's Vineyard and we love taking adventures. Mike was a wonderful host with a beautiful property. The property is close to shops and food. The buses are close and will take you all over. Thank you Mike for being a great host."

"Staff and management were great and very helpful and friendly . Our room was dated and the walls paper thin ,at one point we woke up thinking someone was walking in our room. You could not hold a private conversation in the room without the occupant next door hearing every word . The view out of the window was a metal roof from the property next door . Only plus points were close to ferry and bus stops and small bit of beach to sit on. "

"The apartment was bright, clean, and comfortable. The location is ideal - shopping and food are easily accessible by foot. Mike is friendly and accommodating. He communicated with us via text throughout the stay. Highly recommend. "

Perfectly located duplex with comfy layout & beach gear - steps from Main Street

Space comfortable and well thought out

"Very comfortable and spacious apartment. Attention was paid to details such as lighting etc. Nice furnishings, in good condition, very clean. Bed comfortable, very quiet (but this was a weekend in March). Only minor oversights were that there were tiny bars of soap (bring your own soap, shampoo etc) and while there was a coffee maker, there was no sugar, powdered creamer, tea bags. For just a weekend, to use the kitchen you would have to either bring or go out and buy all these things. We borrowed from a friend, but did not use the kitchen much, although it did seem to be well equipped. Also, as other reviewers have stated, we found it very difficult to find in a cluster of commercial buildings. Better directions or signage would be helpful. But good location in that you can easily walk to Main Street for restaurants, shopping. "

Downtown Captain's Mansion- The Dexter- Family, pet, and event friendly

Perfect venue for my Mother’s Memorial.

"My mom lived on Martha’s Vineyard for over forty years. This was the perfect place to hold a memorial-celebration of life for her. Off island guests could walk from the ferry, no cars needed. Family and friends who traveled from out of state were very comfortable staying here. The beds are luxurious. Bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely furnished and well lit. The kitchen is huge and had everything needed to cater this event ourselves. The large dining table, and kitchen island held an abundance of food. We used the TV for a slideshow. Everyone had room to mingle, or sit as there are plenty of chairs and sofas. I would definitely recommend this house for a family event, or a multi family vacation. "

"We couldn't have picked a better place on the island! I could write a novel of how perfect and charming this place is. The location was perfect! The hosts were amazing! All around great experience!
