"Beautifully decorated and wonderful, friendly staff. We felt at home right away. Breakfast was great and served by a warm, kind staff member. There were plenty of snacks throughout the day. There are a lot of comfortable places to relax outside your room as well. The backyard and garden are stunning. We had coffee outside each morning. The Lily Inn is close to the riverwalk, as well as restaurants, pubs, pizza, coffee shops, and a great place for ice cream. We can't wait to go back. "

"Very affordable, incredibly clean and it's a beautiful old house that has been completely updated. Very quiet and peaceful - there were 3 other guests (judging by the cars) and we never heard or saw them. Our host communicated she would be on her vacation and would not be at the property during our stay, but there was a caretaker and cleaner. "We were in town for a wedding at The Farm. We also have family in Stafford Twp and Surf City. The house was convenient to everything. Since we had rented an electric car, we were pleased to find a charger a half mile away that was available 24/7. That was a huge plus for us. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Each room appears to be will appointed and comfortable, as are the common areas. "

"First thing I noticed was a pair of boxers and a sock next to the couch in the room. Then when I pulled the blankets down there was a large ball of hair between the sheet and “comforter” which was basically just another sheet. I pulled back the sheet and found dirt and hair and smudges of some sort on the fitted sheet. Clearly the bed wasn’t changed out. The staff was nice about it and gave me new sheets and a thicket blankets."

"Jim Was very nice & accommodating, with everything from the things you need to know to even having things you wouldn't expect, such as coffee,tea, fresh eggs, popcorn, ice cream & muffins. It was a nice clean & cozy, reasonable & private place to stay, but it's still close to the shore. I would definitely recommend it. "

"Best; A homey atmosphere for our family. Quiet neighborhood. Good for activities inside and out. Owner very reachable and helpful. Not so good: property could use some additional attention to make rating higher. Outside bushes overgrown over pathway to front door. Had to walk on grass to get to entrance door.. A couple of additional chairs on the front porch would be a plus. No screen doors on back porch made bugs visitors. Lots of leftovers in fridge and and cutlery drawer required good...
