"A beautiful property in the middle of nowhere! It was so relaxing and quiet and having the pool was great! The restaurant wasn't open but they made us a 3 course meal on our 1st night as well as hiving us some recommendations for local restaurants. The staff are there/around but not in your face and the breakfast was lovely - a croissant, fruit, juice and your choice of a breakfast sandwich! Just enough. "

"We have just stayed in 10 premium hotels in every major city in southern Spain. The hospitality and service level at Hierba Luisa was by far the best we have experienced. The hotel was small but well-equipped and the best thing was how quiet the place was. We slept very well."

"Unique cabins and rooms on the grounds of a working winery was special. There are several idyllic areas set up to enjoy wine or coffee on the grounds. Quiet and secure. We drove 3 minutes into town for a very authentic supper experience. We recommend it as a very unique stay"

"Stopped for one night while driving across Spain. On a small side street off main road through town. A surprising gem ,clean modern hotel, good value, an excellent selection of gourmet tapas in restaurant. Dont be put off by location. Room small for couple but fine for single traveller. "

"We searched for hotels in Valencia; this came up as one of the options. It is an hour's drive from Valencia!! Please do not be misled- this is a little town called Casa Ibanez. Other than the location, we had no complaints. The staff were most accomodating, and the town had a quaint feel to it. Nice folks. But tooooo far away from Valencia to be considered as accomodation if you are planning to visit. Thankfully,we drove, so all was not lost."

"When we arrived for our stay, they had no record of the booking, and informed us there was no hot water. Used bathroom facilities whilst there- filthy with dead flies everywhere and no paper. Swimming pool a shade of green. Subsequent investigation on line suggests this hotel is a disaster area, and possibly in deep financial trouble with “rooms embargoed and gas cut off” for non-payment if taxes/bills. "These apartments are located in a very small agricultural town so not loads of shopping. There are several small restaurants within walking distance of the apartments. We also happened to be in town for a local religious festival/ceremony, so very pleased about that.
