"We liked everything about the property... it was clean and comfortable and contained everything we needed. Location was good too. Really appreciated the blackout blinds. Slight downside was that the neighbour began a major renovation project outside, with large and heavy machinery every day, but this is obviously out of the control of the host. We loved our stay and will return!"

"This property lived up to our expectations. it is a quirky yet comfortable place to stay. My husband and I spent a month their at the beginning of Autumn, and were joined by friends for the middle 2 weeks. The house is a short drive from Olargues which has a great boulangerie, a small supermarket and a couple of very good restaurants. Its great base to explore the area and there excellent walking opportunities to suit all levels. Our host was extremely helpful with advice about the area before...

"Although this could be a beautiful house, it is not represented by the photographs. The house is in need of substantive refurbishment. I believe the photographs are many years old. The gardens are now so overgrown and a dumping ground for garden rubbish. The pool is very nice but the plants in tubs are all dead. The pool would benefit from more regular cleaning. "A wonderful huge property, extremely well equipped including a pool table. The house manager met us (as arranged) and guided up through the facilities of the house. The village of Margon does not have any shops though there are lots at both Pouxelles and Roujon each just 2km away. Margon does have an excellent restaurant. It is also perfectly placed to enjoy lakes and mountains and the coast. Finaly it is only a short drive to the medeival cities of Beziers and Carcassonne."

"Large, well-kept home with lots of art on the walls. The yard is lovely. The host speaks only French. There is poor internet in this area and everything is closed on Sunday and Monday. The pool was too cold to swim in. "
