"This was our favorite stay of our 10 day vacation. I felt like I was transported to Narnia, in this tucked away gem. The proprietor walked out to our car to show us where to park, upgraded our room, and was so thoughtful. Our room was so charming, the furnishings cozy and inviting. "We were a little disappointed with the room, as although it was charmingly decorated, there was little space to store clothing and therefore it wasn’t convenient for the 9 nights that we’d booked it for. "Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Pedro and Phillipe were wonderful hosts. The room was spotlessly clean. We were greeted with a very warm greeting and as we settled in to our room Pedro was playing the piano.....wonderful. Breakfast was all home made, plentiful and very tasty (I especially recommend the homemade jams). We did’nt use the pool but did see it and it was clean and looked welcoming. "Corinne, our hostess, was the highlight of our stay in Berville-sur-Mer. Her thatched roof home is beautifully refurbished and updated, but hasn't lost a bit of its old world country charm.
