The bathroom door is made of glass with no privacy which is a little weird, a small curtain would be an easy adition.Bread and viennoiserie for breakfast seemed day old, but having a kitchen with a microwave and toaster helped. The owners had shared they wouldn't be available in the morning for personal reasons it was nice to be able to make more coffee ourselves."

"I had the pleasure of staying at Villa des Iris at the beginning of December. For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night). I was the only one staying in the villa, but I had a very cozy and wonderful stay while I visited Bervais and Amiens."

"We stayed for only a night. Our spacious room was modern with a well appointed bathroom. Our host was right there when needed. The breakfast was ample with quality regional products. The manor house is set in a large parkland which is essentially a game preserve for large and small game alike. The owner is guide and supervises shooting parties for groups and other group functions. The main house is tastefully decorated with hunting lodge decor. I would certainly stay there again."

Super-friendly and helpful communication from Ghislain at all stages, including a welcome basket of food and drink and a breakfast package (leave money in the kitchen for that). The upstairs floor which is a huge family room is really unsafe with no barrier around the stairs so children can run straight off the floor onto the bottom floor this was even unsafe for us as if your slightly tired walking straight off the second floor was too easy as there was nothing to stop you.
