"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

"Overall we quite enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in a very central location in the old town. Its close to the castle, shops and restaurants and also 10 - 15 minutes walk from the train station. There are parking spaces outside the apartment but you are very lucky to fine one! However, free spaces are close by so not a problem. "I loved staying here. There were only minor issues but all able to be resolved. The location was wonderful for us and we enjoyed our stay. Our daughter stared to crawl at this location and it was a safe place for her to explore. The carpet was a tad odd and left things on her clothes but overall I felt it was clean and a safe place for our family :) oh and a little laugh, our daughter fell in love with their throw blanket haha"

"The property is great. A few unexpected things. The Lock box is a 10 minute walk from the train station up hills with luggage then you have to go back down and go 15 minutes the other direction to the property. The property door is rust not the red one. The building stairs are not for someone who can’t carry luggage up old stairs. "This really is rural. It is in the middle of a forest down an unmade road 2 km to nearest village. It is a beautiful location. Host are generous and welcoming.
