"Very very basic hotel. I would say it's more 3 or 3.5 star not 4 star. Room was nice but small and had basic amenities. A/C on the first night took a while to cool. Pool and roof top very nice but if you are by the pool it's so difficult to order as the staff pay no attention to that area. The reception staff gave me hardly any info when I checked in, I had to ask questions that he should have provided straight away. Food at the rooftop restaurant was just ok. "Villeneuve Loubet is a short train journey outside Nice, pleasant enough, not a ‘resort’ (which is good!) I wouldn’t have been so keen to stay here on my own as it’s a way out of town, but a great budget stay for the two of us! "
