"We had a fabulous holiday at Mas de la Rivière. The house is spacious and well-equipped and the private and partially shady terrace with its beautiful trees and wisteria-covered outdoor dining space was a godsend on the hottest of days. Our dog enjoyed swimming in the river Tet next to the house and there are enormous sandy beaches nearby as well as some pretty rockier coves close to the Spanish...

"We were fortunate that, unusually, the property was available during the winter. Our extended family stayed 12 nights over the Christmas/New Year holidays. We received a warm welcome from Marie Claire and were pleased to find a decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We enjoyed the location, a short walk to the Mediterranean, and a 15-18 minute walk to Collioure. The grounds have parking for multiple vehicles, which is useful.A very memorable holiday!!"

"The address given is not accurate and it took us ages to find, we had to hope that the host read the messages, he then gave us the address. This is listed as an English speaking host which is not accurate. We struggled to communicate. The place is advertised with a pool but this was out of bounds due to the drought, we understand this but we should have known before arrival. We had no hot water at all during our stay and we could not contact the host despite messaging and ringing the door...
