"We really like this gite. Peaceful location, perfect for relaxation and local area is pretty with lots of nice villages and scenic drives. The weather is unpredictable, so an upgrade to the indoor seating would be nice for more comfort on rainy days. Overall, it's great!"

"The hotel was lovely - one of the nicest family rooms we've stayed in. The town was beautiful as well. Just a shame that children were too excited to get to sleep!"

"There were seven adults and three children staying and as there was a sink in each bedroom and three bathrooms there was no queing to get ready in the morning. The very large conservatory was where a lot of time was spent, mainly due to the pool table. It was a very warm period and it was nice to sit and eat under one of the trees in the large garden. The garden was ideal for children to play in. Ideal location to visit Mont Saint Michel and Villedieu is a charming town. Overall very practical accomodation for a large group."

"Jaqueline is the ultimate host who clearly loves having guests to stay at her beautiful property in the stunning Normandy countryside. We received a very warm welcome when we arrived, Jaqueline is charming and was keen to make us feel at home. During our stay we enjoyed chatting with Jaqueline, she made every effort to enhance our stay by telling us about different places to visit and recommended the best shops and restaurants. The property is in a great location, peaceful and pretty it is the perfect place to unwind and relax whilst still being close to lively towns and villages and the wonderful Mont San Michel. The local shop/bar was great, fun friendly owners with a good sense of humour putting up with our terrible French! There were plenty of clean beds in decent sized bedrooms, we all slept very well. The kitchens were well equipped with everything you might need, ample space for cooking and enough tables and chairs, inside and out to have meals together. We used quite a few of the bicycles most days, it was fun cycling around the countryside. It is a truly idyllic place to stay with a genuine and generous host."
