"For a budget stopover the Hotel Diamante could not be faulted. The room was spacious with two king size beds. In a room off there was a good sized sink area, toilet and shower. The shower had plenty of hot water and the water quickly became hot at the sink. Besides the television there was a microwave and decent sized fridge. Outside the pool was sadly drained for maintenance, but we managed to have a drink on the unusual poolside chairs. The receptionist was helpful pointing out a nearby eatery...

"This simple property was clean and offered exactly what was advertised. Limited interaction with staff. Close to the Malecon. Lots of shops were closed so it’s possible we were just experiencing the shoulder season. All in all, a good place to stop on a road trip. "

"The lady running this place is extremely professional. Everything is super clean and smells nice. The office too. She told me that the front desk is 24 hours and she meant it. There is always someone there. Some may find the rooms to be Spartan, but please, consider the room you would have for that price in Seattle, or Minneapolis, etc. You have a nice, clean room in a safe area. Simple walk to shopping and the beach. Cement beds don't squeak."

"Facility older but still good for area, did not service our room on second day, no heat but did provide a space heater that did not work! On the plus side it had Alfredo’s best Italian food this New Yorker had in Mexico the Osso Boco was amazing! Good quiet location "
